    Found over the years that it's cheaper to buy the new edition of Desktop Pro with Payroll compared to doing the auto renew for Payroll only through QuickBooks. That makes it a no brainer for me. QB's has also made it easier to register and activate Payroll which is a definite plus!

    As always, QuickBooks makes a fantastic software program that will do more than you could possibly need. The problem is how they fee you to death after purchasing the program (especially the payroll program).

    Bought it for 3 business cost more money to even use to the full extent, and it so tedious. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. I also bought the payroll 100$ for a year and then pay 2$ per employee. Completely unimpressed maybe it will get better but I don't recommend this at all.

    Use QBooks pro and payroll to run our business. Actually, it is not too bad for a small business, does the job .. but Intuit will charge a yearly fee for the payroll part that is 300 to 400 $, and each 3 years, they make you buy a new QBooks pro. I wish I could dump these money grubbing greedy software people, but I have not been able to find another good accounting system that fits for our small business.
