    Intuit is greedy

I bought the QB Desktop Pro 2018 "Perpetual" version. To the normal folk, perpetual would mean that you can continue using it until *YOU* (the customer) decides to upgrade it. In May 2021, Intuit decided to stop support and is literally forcing people to upgrade to 2021 version. I contacted Product support because OFFLINE import of QBO files stopped working. The person had the galls to say "you can continue using it but you'll have to enter all transactions manually". Reading other comments here, I'm really not going to pay $400 for software that dials home to validate every single time and fails at it. Vote with your money and go elsewhere.
