turbotax 2015 did as described; we would buy next years edition

Converted from windows version to Mac. Very different layout and setup but so far so good

Quicken never does their best for Mac. They also treat products as subscriptions, causing us to by annual updates. Quicken 2016 Mac was no exception. At this point, don't buy it. Instead, only 2017. New releases seem to happen in October before the year begins.

I have a learning curve switching from a PC to a MAC, but Quicken has made it easy. Love the budget portion.

I have used quicken for years I like the way the older versions work better but they are not supported anymore. Its better than a check register though.

Just started setting the program but noticed improvements over the 2015 edition. Friendlier to use.

For several years I have used the Quicken Essential software for Mac. When I did the last system update on my MacBook pro, it reported that it was not compatible with the new system. I purchased this version and was able to install without problems. It also converted my data. I do not, however, like it as well as the older version. I like to manage my finances manually, not using the feature of connecting with my bank automatically. It is more difficult to do with this version.

Upgraded from Quicken For Mac 2015 simply because of the improved budget reporting function. Don't have stocks, etc. - just basic banking that I need to track, so don't know if anything else has been improved. Downloads still seem to be pretty slow, and it continues to mis-catorgarize some entries, but overall I still think it's better than iBank (or Banktivity, as it's now called).

The look of the program is more appealing. Needs more macro functionality like Microsoft Money i.e. remembering the next check number. Reports wise it's detailed. Only problem and it may be a MAC issue....once the original software REQUIRED This new one....It held my file hostage and would not let me open it. Convenient for Quicken to make more money so you HAVE TO BUY it instead of just letting you continue to use the version you have.

Quicken for MAC does not provide many of the functions that Quicken for Windows which detracts from its performance especially for novice users.

Great program very easy to update and transfer data from older version.

This software does a great job. I had previous versions and this is better than previous versions

I purchased this software and there many improvements this year. Good pricing at Best Buy....

as expected, no suprises ... Best Buy price matched internet sale price which was cool!

Does not compare to Quciken PC which is a great product. Returned it for credit.

I have been using Quicken since 1999, it quite literally changed my life, I haven’t been late with a bill since! I’m very happy that they have finally come out with a version for MacOS that’s actually usable.

The product seems to have all kinds of useful reports and features. After 2 months of using it, I just find the product rather complicated/confusing to interact. The software does not have much instructions. Knowing what I know now, I would still purchase the product but it takes some learning to feel comfortable using it.

This is a Fantastic Program, I would not use anything else!

Great for my purposes, been using Quicken for years since Microsoft Money was discontinued. Not much competition for them in financial software, only thing I can find that works for me is another product they produce.

I was using an older version of Quicken and got a new computer so needed the newer version. There are so many updates and it's really easier to use. Completely different but it is easy to learn the new layout.
