The TurboTax program is easy to load and use. Reads in data from previous use and I always have it walk me through all the steps just in case I might miss something. Makes filing my taxes easy.

I have used Turbo Tax for years and have always been pleased with how easy it is to use. I use the import feature which saves a lot of time in filling out documents. I also do the efile and have the tax return deposited directly in my bank account. I use the state form and all the data is transferred from the Federal form to the State form which saves time. I efile the State as well and it is included in this version. I usually wait till late in the year to buy because the closer to tax time the cheaper it gets. I shopped around for prices and Amazon and Costco had the best price. This was not a problem because Best Buy matched the lowest price.

First time using this software overall impression is that it's cheaper and more convenient than having an accountant or tax service do your taxes for you. Great and simple to use.

This is the software if you want to do your taxes by yourself. Lots of features and clear answers.

Very easy to use. Very accurate. I had compared my return to the one completed be a paid CPA. The results were within $25 dollars...in MY favor at a fifth of the CPA cost.

We've used a professional accountant for over ten years. I ran our numbers through turbo tax this year to get a comparison to what the accountant came up with to decide if we should keep paying his fee next year. Turbo Tax showed us getting a sizeable return while our accountant showed us owing money to federal and state. I brought this up to our accountant and he took a look at the turbo tax paperwork and found that turbo tax was right and he had made an error that caused the difference. Needless to say we'll be using turbo tax from now on and saving several hundred dollars in prep fees.

For the dreaded taxes, this works well enough. As years go by it can get somewhat complicated but for the average person it works well.

I've been using TurboTax for 25-30 years. Always works well and saves time. Trying to figure-out how get additional state income tax as a deduction paid in the year after the tax year it was used for. So far, I don't see how. Explanations are lacking in program.
