As the saying goes, the only 2 sure things in life are death and taxes. This makes doing ones taxes a little less painful

I buy a copy of TurboTax Deluxe+State every year, although usually not at BestBuy since I'm not in the store very often these days. There are free versions of tax preparation software but I'm used to Turbo and like that it pulls in the information from the previous year's return. In the past I've had questions about what's deductible in certain situations and Turbo seemed to know the right answer, although it was not always transparent.

A super program to assist in paying those nasty taxes. I have used it every year since it has been available. 2 thumbs up!

I’ve been using TurboTax for more than 10 years. It makes tax preparation simple. It’s also a real bargain allowing you to electronically file up to 5 returns for only the purchase price. Don’t know how 2018 taxes will be impacted by tax reform but I am confident that TurboTax will be ready.

I have purchased TurboTax Deluxe federal and state for about 10 years now. I love the fact that it can import my information from the prior year as well as import information from my bank and financial institutions.A real timesaver! Easy to use!

Turbo Tax is easy to use for a beginner or an experienced tax preparer. It populates all the necessary forms for you, just by asking you specific questions. It looks for the highest refund possible and give you options along the way. I recommend it for 1040EZ, 1040A, and 1040 users.

Interview process for novices and form structure for those in the know. An excellent and easy to use product. If you don't know basic tax laws you could receive less of a refund than you are entitled too. Be careful!

This product is awesome. We have been using this for years. It is self explanatory and easy to use. You get the same results as a tax place would get you. They use the same software in most cases. Save yourself some money.

I have used Turbo Tax to do both my Federal and State - PA - returns for well over a decade. the program is easy to use, accurate, and does not require a lot of time to complete provided one has all of the necessary input data at hand.

Pros: Very easy to use. Software guides you throughout the entire process. Have used Turbo Tax for 4 years straight with no issues. Cons: Separate charge for filing state return. I think that’s ridiculous.

Turbo Tax is very thorough and takes you step by step throught the whole tax process so that nothing is missed. Accurate calculations. Contains information to explain tax code on various income and deductions.

I have used TT for about 15 years. I stay with it for the simplicity and the year to year auto transfer of data and tax related carryovers. NOT SURE that all these other FREE services are worth the hassle.

I have been using Turbo Tax Deluxe for several years and find it especially useful reporting capital gains and losses. For example, the software allows me to easily connect to my brokerage account for the required tax data which Turbo Tax downloads and uses to complete the tax forms. This year, however, I decided to get the Federal +State version and found it was not worth the added expense. Maryland offers free filing on its website and almost all the required information comes off the Federal return. Also, Turbo Tax charges extra for online filing of the state return while the state does not.
