I prefer installing it on my hard drive and running it from there. Best Buy makes ALL shopping so easy that it is a no-brainer to order my s/w online and go in and pick it up.

Tax Return Help

I believe the latest versions are not as easy to use as the older/original versions. Too, many steps are too 'automated" and not clear as to what the software is trying to do without my input. However, I am not aware of any alternative software that I could try using to see if it is easier to use.

Reliable Tax Software

I never had any problems using the easy to follow "interview" style of the system to easy complete and e-file my taxes.

It handles all my tax situations. Ordering from Best Buy was easy and the delivery was made quickly. Nothing but good things to recount.

One year I compared the results to a professional tax preparer’s return and it caught items he missed.

Buyer beware. Does not work on Windows 7.

However, Keep in mind this version only works on Windows 8 or higher. That's a bummer and I only gave it 3 stars for that reason. There appears to be an anticipated file fee increase after march first as well for state.
