    If you're taxes are less than straight forward, getting Turbotax to really do your taxes right requires you to understand how to do your taxes and then push Turbotax to include credits, deductions, etc. that it may have missed (at least, in my experience.) Items that come to mind include accrual of bond premium for munies taxable by the state of NY, original issue discount, etc.
