Great hub use macbook or my new dell lattitude. New USB ports are fast!

Works exactly as it's supposed to. Compact and easy to carry with me.

When I bought my new MacBook, I was worried I would have to buy a number of converters and lose the ability to plug everything in at once. With this docking station, I can plug all of my devices into my MacBook and still have some ports open. Plus, it has a longer coord than the other USB-C converters I was looking at.

I'm sitting pretty with two monitors and my Macbook cause I plan ahead, unlike certain coworkers of mine (definitely not Jim), who now have to complain about how hard it is to work off their single laptop screen cause of COVID-19. Boo-hoo Jim, plan ahead and get a docking station like the rest of us so you can have all your crap plugged into one place at home. Jokes aside, it's hard to say anything other than it works well and hasn't made me feel bad about my life choices. I've had this thing for almost a year and it works still. Note: It does run warm just idling and a bit . . . hot when in use. I definitely wouldn't sit my Mac on top of it since their cooling is terrible as it is.

Nice dock-using it with a MacBook Pro and a Windows laptop. Easy to hook up and plenty of ports and easy to switch laptops. Only downside is I need to buy another power supply since it doesn't come with one, but I knew that before I purchased it.

New Macs come only with USB-C ports. This adapter makes it possible to simultaneously connect the many devices most of us require, such as power plugs, external drives, large presentation screens and a terminal.

This adapter is great for traveling and presentations. Especially when you are not sure which adapter a projector may use. Also works well for older sd cards and wired network connections.

It gets hot fast but other than that it works perfectly. I’d recommend it more on 13inch MacBooks because the 15 is too wide for it but it still works flawlessly with 15inch and 13inch

Apple is great at making its laptops without anywhere to plug in your Ethernet or monitor too. This product provides all of the possible inputs you will need or would normally expect to see on a laptop.

I was forced to buy this device when the new computer I bought did not have any input jacks on it. I had another type at first. It had no pig tail. My computer cover would not work. This type of docking station allows space for my protective computer jacket to fit. When I carry it, I can lay it on top of the computer. I sure wish I could have just bought the big Apple laptop that had all of this already in it. Too much money. This device works well and does the job.

This is actually a great value for what it is. I’ve looked at a lot of other docs or dongle‘s that have less functionality and cost the same or more. That being said the thing really isn’t that easy to carry around with you. It’s not as big as I feared it would be but it’s still bigger than I would like. But it has every connection on at that I could possibly want. I bought it to use with my Pixelbook Chromebook which only has USB type C connectors on it. It works like a charm The only negative that I can see other than the bulky size is the fact that when you hook it up it automatically disables the Pixelbooks onboard speakers assuming that you are going to want to use speakers that are plugged into the dock itself. I wish it would check to make sure that there is indeed a set of speakers plugged into the dock before it does that. Other than that it’s a great value.

This product gets hot really quickly! Be mindful when using for extended sessions. I purchased this because I needed access to USB ports but of course I was finding performance issues with my mouse and keyboard at the time and I found that it was because of the heat that would make the USB receiver too hot which brought about problems. I would have returned if I could, but unfortunately I threw the box away.

Hooked up to a new MacBook Pro...Couldn't get the power pass-though port to work as both a charger and power port for my portable CD drive. I also had trouble getting my external (be it old and probably un-adaptable) VGA monitor to work via the Mini Display port. To be fair, I never called Customer Support after downloading the Apple drivers for the unit. My experience may not be everybody else's so I give it a 3...it may work for you.

I purchased this docking station for my new Chromebook. The number and variety of ports is convenient, but my keyboard, mouse and external monitor randomly lose connection when plugged into the port. I tried it with my Windows computer, which has different ports on the machine itself, and I was able to definitively identify that the issue is the docking station and not the unifying usb device or the monitor. I figured this out after the return period, so I just have to live with it now.

The MiniDisplay port is only that & does not also provide a port to your Thunderbolt 2 device. The pamphlet with the dock says that but I can find that no where online or on the box to let someone know before they purchase. I needed this for a 2019 MacBook Pro that only has Thunderbolt 3 ports. I mistakenly thought I could connect my Thunderbolt 2 external drive to this. Nope, so had to purchase an additional adapter for that. Everything else works fine. This dock gets very warm quickly, so I don't rest it under my laptop because it will only make it get hotter faster. I have it along the left side.

Very well built, found out hard way firewire port is for video only.

This dock is awesome I take it with me everywhere its smaller but still big enough to have plenty of ports.

This is much cheaper and matches the look of the macbook! I'm thrilled about that because i have a small desk and this works great. I haven't tried to hook up anything more than the monitor so i can't rate its full use yet.

This was sitting on the shelf with all the Mac products. Bought it. Tried to get it to work and finally checked Manufacturer’s website. Whoops, not compatible with MacOS used on any USB-C Macs. Works with my PC just fine.

This has been easy to use and works well with my new MacBook Pro. It’s large to handle all the attachments needed to run my busy office
