It has all the ports you would need! An excellent traveling companion too!

I bought this for an imac so I could hook up a 2nd monitor, some external drives, and flash drives, rather than buying 10 different adapters. All of the ports are working great. I'm pretty satisfied with it so far. Only thing is, if you're looking to use it with a laptop/mobile rig, it's a little heavier than expected for portability, but I'm using on my desktop, so no problem.

External Hard Drives used to get disconnected from my computer when they were plugged directly into computer. They have not been disconnected from the computer since I started using the docking station.are not dropped from the computer. Also lets me connect everything to computer that was removed from newer models to make them lighter.

Worked out well for my personal computer and Samsung phone for Dex mode. It didn't seem to work for my work laptop ( which is the same manufacturer oddly enough). Fortunately, I have another doc from work that I could use. I've found you really have to pay close attention to the standards the docks use to transmit video.

This docking station was perfect for mimicking the set up that I have at my job for my home office. I now have plenty of USB ports for all my peripheral devices and can utilize two small TVs with HDMI connections as monitors. Price was reasonable and this does not take up much space on the desk.

It seems this station is designed for computers with USB-C on the left; my PC has USB-C on the right, so it won't position well under the back of my PC. I can run dual monitors (1 DisplayPort, 1 HDMI) IF I set the DisplayPort to 59p and the HDMI to 59i instead of 60p. Using VGA prevents digital monitors from working (by design). I can run a Seagate Slim 2TB drive from the end USB3 port but not a WD slim 4TB drive. The USB ports are not powered.

I looked at several less expensive solutions for plugging everything into my new MacBook. This handles it all, External monitor, Hard drive, Ethernet, Thumb drive and micro SD cards. It will handle even more than that if needed.

Fulfills all my needs with the purchase of my new MacBook. Charging pass through is a huge plus. Will handle 4K output. (Video.)

Currently when I work from home I have to work at the kitchen table. This docking station makes for easy put up and take down as I only need to unplug my laptop from the wall and not everything else. The multiple varied ports have come in handy and I have had no interruptions in Ethernet connection.

You absolutely need one of these to set up your MacBook. Wish it was able to hook up two monitors.

Bought this to dock a MacBook Pro. The build quality was good. I found out that MacOS has a limitation on the display outs from one USB-C connection. Also when utilizing usb, Ethernet, power and video out, my MacBook Pro got quite hot. I would say that a better solution is to split functions across a couple dongles and leave power on its own connection.

This device works well. The only thing I would cation is it does not come with a power supply. Without the power supply it will not provide power to the connected computer. This is an additional cost that I was not expecting. Other than that it works well and allows me to use two additional monitors.

Although the sales person sold me the wrong product I was able to get it to work on one monitor

If you are like me, none of your old MacBook connections match this new USB 'C' stuff. Everything needs an adapter!! AGGHH... so frustrating. I'm so thankful for this new docking station. It has everything you'll need to transition to the next phase of the Macworld. A Must Buy at a Great Price.

The build quality of this docking station was good and it had a nice balanced weight to it. Not too light to just slide around the desk, but also not to heavy to make it effect the portability. The only issue I ran into was that I found that I didn't need the extra VGA or Mini-Display ports among a few other. Also, in my experience can't use this to connect to multiple monitors at the same time. In the end, I just needed extra USB ports on my Macbook pro and exchanged this for something with more dedicated USB 3.0 ports. I would recommend this for people looking for the extra monitor ports as well as the USB 3.0 ports, but if you just need the USB 3.0 ports, look elsewhere as this takes a up a lot of desk space if you're not going to utilize the extra ports.

I needed this docking station to connect a monitor to my Lenovo laptop which has limited ports. I am so glad that the Best Buy representative recommended it. The only issue is that I usually need to disconnect and then reconnect the docking station before starting to watch videos.

Helped add connections to my Mac book pro also worked great with co workers Mac book Air.

After buying a Yoga 920, I realized I needed to have this for extra USB and others. Works great!
