The device works once you update the firmware. Otherwise, the device tries to use your computer’s wifi adapter instead of its own. It’s a good solution for quickly trying to duplicate your screen.

I purchased this item so I could project my laptop onto a TV screen. I chose one of the less expensive offerings and was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to hook up and did exactly as it promised!

I'm android so I can't speak to iphone, but this quick add on gives me the ability to easily cast from my phone tablet and computer to older tv. Recommended.

There was good store assistance and Geek Squad was checked BUT when I got it home and installed it DID NOT WORK for me. I called the manufacturer with make and model information and spoke to lead technical support guy who indicated he felt the box should have marked with that "line of sight" is a requirement. My computer was around the corner. Manufacturer graciously offered to swap out device for another more powerful device.

This is perfect for traveling and using in hotel rooms or visiting a friend and want to show pictures or movies that you have on your cell phone

Not what I really wanted. You have to download software to use it.

For a one time price this device allows it's own internet connection to use device screen mirroring. No home wifi no problem. No chromecast no problem. I use it to enlarge videos to play on my home TV without having to connect my phone to hdmi. This device does not allow Netflix to mirror, but that's not an issue for me. Don't hesitate to contact their manufacturer support line for concerns after purchase. Your phone does need "Smart view" feature and you're set to direct connect.

This IOGEAR wireless video/audio extender did work somewhat but there seemed to be a delay in transmission on occasion.

Easy to setup snd use. Has worked well so far. Have a new Win 10 laptop hope it works as well
