Had a hard time figuring out how to connect it to my wifi. Once i disconnected everything else from my wifi, it worked great.

Easy to use picture scanner-bought Brother first & returned because not easy to setup-This scanner was great in comparison-very quick to scan, easy to understand wifi connection. Only thing is you have to make sure & charge couple of hours before using. Overall very happy in my choice!

I purchased this product for my Aunt, she only needed to occasionally scan things for work and didn't need a big dedicated scanner. While the product is simple and easy to use I find it very disappointing that it does not give you the option to combine several one page scans into a single pdf when done. It meets my Aunt's needs, but I would find it completely frustrating to try and scan a 5-10 page document and end up with 5-10 separate pdf's. This limitation was only discovered while working with the product, wasn't discussed any where on the box or the limited documentation it came with. It was also a bad move on the manufacturers part to make you hunt down their web page to download the software need to run the device, instead of including a cd. If you only need to occasionally scan one or two things, and are not very tech savvy Like my Aunt this may be a good product for you, but otherwise this product seems to meet a very limited need, in which there are a lot of other options that would probably work better.

So I purchased this scanner on a whim since the one I currently had was destroyed by baggage handling. It does everything really well and has an awesome feature where it eliminates the use of a cable to the pc. It actually creates its own wifi network for you to scan wirelessly which makes it even more portable than my last brother portable scanner. Very pleased with the purchase.

I have a group of artists that I meet up with regularly to draw and I wanted a portable scanner so that we could capture the pieces as they're done. I got the Ion Air on sale for a bit over 100. It's good at the price. Maybe not such a value at full price though. Set up is very simple on a mobile device; just a matter of downloading the app and then connecting to the scanners wifi signal. Scans are fairly quick. The optics are good enough to pick up lightly sketched pencils lines. Colors do tend to be just a bit over saturated, but not glaringly so. The samples I'm providing are on the "fine" setting of 600dpi. Files sizes come in around 1-3 mb. You may get slivers of black around the edges and I noticed an occasional slippage when it first starts to feed the sheet of paper. I'm using 100# card stock. On couple of occasions the scan was interrupted to a "weak" wifi signal. The was remedied by simple reconnected to the wifi signal. Not sure what causes that. Certainly wasn't distance, as I was sitting right next to the scanner. Overall I'm pretty happy with this device. The few hiccups with the signal and the feed slippage weren't enough to put me off the scanner as a whole.

I used this to scan 100s of photos I've had around the house. It has flawless integration with my Mac via wifi. The speed is also unbelievable. And so is the price. It's sits in the 200 plus range. Far more than any scanner on the market, which for photos, is not a lot. I didn't need wireless scanning, but I had to pay for it because there were any other "photo" scanners out there.

It is extremely portable, rechargeable and scans very well in either 300 dpi or 600 dpi and fast too. Only drawback is one sheet at a time.

I bought this as a gift for my son. He travels on business and has a disaster of receipts etc when he returns. I bought this so he could scan and store as he gets them. It is wireless so he can scan it to any device. Its small and portable so he can take it anywhere. Now I wish I would have bought/kept it for myself.

We were traveling when we purchased the scanner. In the course of our trip, we had photos and a few other things that we wanted to "digitize." My wife spotted this unit, and it didn't take long to decide. It hooked right up to a smartphone and to my Surface Pro 3! Great unit! And handy!

This is a great scanner to pair with you mobile devices. Air copy app works great with iPhone and scanning was a breeze. However, couldn't manage to make it work on laptop yet, but I will not bother until the needs arise as it works with iPhone to do the job well anyway.

The scanner worked well the software was fairly easy to install and the operation was good. But once the scanner got dirty it was hard to clean although the cleaning pads are included in the box.

I had over 500 pictures in all sizes and conditions. and the scanner handled each with good care and great quality. Even some of the very old, brittle, and cracked pics went through with no problem. With the high quality resolution setting, it was slow and took several days, but looking at the clear viewer was awesome as a pdf.

I bought this product. In need of a cheap way for my driver to send me bills of lading. Before he would have to stop at truck stops. To fax me the paper work. In a week this scanner will end up paying for himself compared to faxing.

I wish I had learned of this scanner a lot sooner than I did. This scanner is worth every cent I paid for it. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a quality color scanner. After scanning the photograph, or document, it automatically crops it for you. It's very user friendly too!
