I was given a whole bunch of old slides from my family from over 50 years ago and nobody knew how to view these old slides because the cords were thrown away from the old slide projectors. So I went to my local stores where I live and nobody even offered the service any longer of converting old slides to pics and if they did, they wanted a huge price for this service. Somehow I managed to stumble across Best Buy's Website and there was what I was looking for to view my slides and also put them onto my computer! What a great concept! It's very easy to use also and the picture clarity even after all these years is just Amazing!!

This machine was a great way to convert 6 decades of slides to sd card. This is a stand alone converter. The slides was going bad from age and are put on sd card and put in picture viewer with high quality pics.

The quality of the images generated is very good. Very easy to use. The image editing software supplied is very useful and easy to use. The results on very old photo negatives was surprisingly good. The software was a real added bonus. A very good value.

Bought this for my dad because he had so many slides and negatives laying around the house, great machine for those who have boxes of slides and negatives, he was so happy that i got it for him just make sure that you buy a sd card that has a lot of space, one of the cool things is that he was able to put all the photos on his computer and have then saved in a folder,

I couldn't love this product anymore. Super simple to use - great value! I think I took a whole day to get through all my negatives (believe me, I had a TON) and it was so worth it to see all those old memories.

My husband had over 2,000 slides that needed to be transferred and he was able to get it done quickly without any screaming at it.

Several times I have noticed the scanner not save images. Negative scanning in NOT very good. Color shift all over the place. I scanned a roll of film: 2/3 were scanned good. The remaining scanned with a green cast. Took film to lab to test print. Print was perfect color. Also dust was all over the inner workings. Not very sharp either.

I just picked up my scanner and tried scanning negatives both color and b& w, and also color slides. I am at a complete loss to under all the positive reviews on this product. The initial scan quality is terrible, the images are soft and all highlights are blown out. I am returning it first thing in the AM. If you want quality, don't waste your money and time on this scanner.

I bought this scanner for the express purpose of scanning old negative film. I realized very quickly that the slide holders would not accommodate my slides. Oh, it did a fine job of scanning a section of the film. But, the dimensions of my film were larger than the scan area. I was losing either the top or bottom part of the picture. I'm now looking for a flatbed scanner with a Transparent Materials Adapter built in.
