great little machine, zips through slides and negatives with no problem. Well worth the price.

The Fim 2 sd plus worked fine. It is a vast improvement over my ten year old slide reader. The software that came with it wouldn't install. It wouldn't recognize the Arcsoft registration number printed on the disk envelope. I made two unsatisfactory calls to ArcSoft and finally was able to contact your Best Buy customer service. They did a great job of working around the problem and now I am satisfied with the machine. If I were rating your Customer Service personnel the rating would have been outstanding but you asked for a "PRODUCT RATING"

This product has allowed me to easily take all my old negatives and slides and move them over to my laptop where I can burn them to a CD/DVD and know they will be permanently preserved. If you have old negatives and slides hidden away in a box somewhere, this product is a must!!

Works well and produces good scans. It is a time consuming process but that is not the device's fault.

We have BOXES of slides from the '50s, '60s and '70s that need to get converted to digital. I had a previous generation slide scanner (XP only) so it wouldn't work with my Win7 box. This unit uses USB and scans to a SD memory chip so you can either transfer by wire or just put the chip into your PC and copy files. The images are scanned quickly and are very clear. Just what we needed.

Reluctant to order thinking you get what you pay for. Took a chance and very happy with results. It doesn't fix scratches or other issues with original slide, but does provide a good digital copy of original.

I am so happy with my ION! It is great for any Scrapbooker, or who does Genealogy. I have come across some great photos of my parents, siblings, and other family members. it is easy to use, and brings excitement with every negative I find. Thank You Best Buy

Got this for my dad who has 40+ years of slides. He's in his 80's now and has enjoyed going through the slides, scanning them and sharing them with friends. Too many old family memories that would have eventually been lost otherwise.

Used this to convert about 200 slides to digital. My son had to figure out how to operate as the instructions are inadequate. Once going, operation is manual and slow, but certainly adequate for what I had to do. Ability to adjust picture brightness is great to have as slides are 50 years old. Somewhat cumbersome but I got the job done. The editing software (included) allows you to make remarkable adjustments to the original photos.

Years ago I had a flatbed scanner that converted slides... It was painful to set up and use. Recently I needed an old image that was on a slide and looked at the old scanner and decided there must be a better way. I went to Best Buy and bought this scanner... It works GREAT! I will be scanning many more of the old slides now.

After scanning in hundreds of old 35mm slides, I'm pleasantly surprised wit the results. Fast scan times to SD card and good results if the slides are clean.

It does an excellent job scanning most slides, and especially photo negatives. The only problems I had was some of my slides were too large to scan, although they fit in the machine. Overall I am very satisfied.

Not a bad solution for scanning slides. Once you get the feel for feeding the slides in, it works quite well.

This worked better than I thought, slides from the 50's and older looked great on the pc and made slide show for putting on a flash drive and on large screen TV... great way to modernize / preserve memories.

Bought this to bring back to life some 35 mm slides of the family. It works just fine and is easy to use.

Using to digitize my slides and negatives.,, Only drawback is the angle of the screen, I have to tilt to see it.... Good price point.

This is a great little machine and does a great job. I transferred over 2100 slides from 1963 thru 1988. Best thing is to get all your slides organized and all you do is load 4 at a time. This sounds slow, but after a few slides, I could do about 40 in 12 minutes. Machine has buttons where you can brighten, darken and change the colors, as well as the saturaton. But, I like leaving the slides pretty much as they were, except sometimes, I would brighten a darker slide. You too, will develope your own system. I think you will be satisfied your purchase.

This little machine is awesome, i mainly purchased it to transfer slides into a digital copy and it was amazing. I have to warn you that the slide has to be spotless clean because if not the lint will show. (This was the pain in the butt)
