Brought it back out and now it won't turn on. Seems like the battery charges so I don't think that's the issue. Basically, all we got was six months use out of it.

They are water resistant not proof. First time a decent rain came, it filled up with water. I bought 2 of these and they sound great and link up pretty easily. But it was a 180$ lesson learned, by not leaving them outside in the weather.

If it sits in the sun, it overheats the internal electronics and plays at almost 0 volume and very glitchy and poppy (hot amplifiers don't work) until it cools off (15+ minutes). For something that is supposed to be solar charged, but cannot be in the sun (South Carolina) it seems pretty worthless, will be returning as pool music is only worthwhile during the day EXACTLY when this doesn't work.

I spent hours trying to get the 3 speakers I purchased to sync and stay connected to my phone and each other. What a waste of time. I smashed all 3 to save my sanity. Buy almost anything else but this.

Its pitched as an outdoor speaker but we were only able to use it a few times in our backyard prior to it cutting out on us. It wont charge and wont turn on, and it happened 2 days outside of the return window. I have a giant useless paper weight now.

I would recommend that you keep them near each other when turning them on and going into multi sync mode, they will pair much faster. So far they hold a charge well, I have never left them out in the rain but they are near a pool. 4 speakers work well for clarity and volume. I have had an issue with one of them losing volume.

Spotty connections

If you experience audio dropouts while playing music from this unit, this may be happening because your unit is trying to link to another speaker.
This can occur if you power off a speaker that was linked to your unit or if you have just turned on your unit and it is in Multi-SyncTM mode.
To stop the audio dropouts, exit Multi-SyncTM mode by double-pressing the LINK button. Alternatively, you can wait for your unit to link to another Solar SoundsTM Speaker if there is one within range.
