Physical design looks good. I loved the echo/reverb feature. This small unit gives me the echo sound effects that I want on a system. It is great for karaoke. Unfortunately, volume is too low, even using the apps. I wish they put more power on this unit. Battery life is normal. Other than the sound is good, volume is just too low. This unit is okay for minimum listening.

Thanks for your review! While we're thrilled to hear you've enjoyed the Trouper 100's onboard features, we're sorry to hear that the output power did not meet the needs of your use case. For high-volume needs, such as a party, tailgate, or live performance, check out the Total PA Apex -- Similar portability and mobility, as it's also battery-powered, but nearly twice as powerful. Nice Speaker with a major flaw

I truly wanted to love this device. It ticks so many boxes: solid construction, ports for plugging in guitars and microphones, onboard controls, and the option to mount it on a stand. However, it falls short in the most critical area: sound quality. The volume is surprisingly low, especially compared to other, more affordable speakers from the same brand. I read reviews suggesting that downloading the app could help to increase the volume, but I noticed no difference. While I had high hopes for this product, it ultimately let me down in a major way.

Very tiny. A treble/bass mixer would have been nice for the mic. It sounds like you’re under water and the volume is rich, very thin and unable to cut against a karaoke speaker.
