Battery started losing life almost immediately. Within less than a year, it wasn't working at all. Never even used this product outside or treated it harshly. Just poorly made.

Battery life is horrible

Poor battery life

Great buy

It’s waterproof, lightweight, and has aux and Bluetooth mode. It also lights up and you can change the light modes. It’s loud enough to be used outdoors as well. Battery lasts long and charges fast.

To late to return it so had to go thru ION website to replace . I should of bought JBL instead . ION speaker is NOT worth $130 . Stick with JBL or better .

The speaker sounds best if you put it in a corner or around walls. Other than that, it’s pretty quiet. But this thing booms! the whole house will shake if you put it in a corner. I’m mainly listen to rock music and instruments. If you’re looking for a speaker in the $300 range and you listen to rock music. I would seriously suggest the Marshall killburn II. It’s not as durable as this speaker as far as water and drops and stuff. . But the battery life is crazy on the marshall! And you can control bass and treble.

Used it every day until lately when it would just randomly turn off after about 30 minutes. I reached out to the company and was told that this “REQUIRES a DC 5V 2A adapter which is not included”. Is that crazy, or what? Its required but not included. That insanity deducts two stars.

We recommend using a 5V 2A adapter for optimal performance to ensure the best experience with your Uber Boom Ultra. While a 5V 1A adapter might work, it may not provide sufficient power for sustained use, which could be causing the issue you encountered.

This ION is a huge disappointment
