    Subpar product, complete failure within 3 months

    Theoretically a great product and worked okay for a month. The windshield attachment worked great, the rest of it didn't work so well. The ball joint was never stable requiring tightening almost every day to keep the phone from drooping. Fairly slow charging compared to similar products. Three months in, the arms stopped working, making it completely useless

    Ive had to return this once and now im returning the return. Theres a status light on the unit. All it does is flash red and not charge any phone. I tried using it with my Pixel 8a, but both units just flashed red and wouldn't charge. It's also supposed to have an internal battery so the phone can be released when the car is off, but the battery never worked.

      We apologize for your negative experience using the Auto Sense 2.

      By reading your description, it seems like an alignment issue. Have you tried adjusting the feet? Unfortunately, if there is interference with the wireless charging area, the light may flash red as well. For instance, metal on a phone case or facing the screen inwards to the device.

      Anything that will interfere with a solid connection.

    Not strong enough for the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The weight of the phone combined with the bumpiness of my truck caused the cradle to tilt downward as I drove. Granted a truck is more bumpy than a car, so maybe it's fine for car use.

    This product is highly disappointing. My phone has fallen out several times while I have been driving. I regret buying it. Would like a refund if possible. Otherwise I will just junk it.

    Does not fit Pro Max

    Does not work with iPhone Pro Max sized models. Materials were super cheap and there’s no manual unlock feature on it so you have to have it plugged in to remove or put device into charger.

      The issue may stem from the device not receiving enough power.

      This happens when the cable or the cigarette car adapter plug is not utilizing the full output.

      If that is the case, we're here to help you find out which part needs replacing, not just if there's an issue with your power source.

      If you have a compatible USB port in your car or another cigarette lighter adapter, can you please test and record a video?

      Alternatively, you if you have a compatible wall charger in your home, you can also use that to test the device.

      With that said, here's more information to make it a little easier to test. Please test the cigarette lighter adapter and create a video demonstration of the below.

      Adapter with USB-C Port Only:
      - Plug the adapter into a known working cigarette lighter socket.

      - Connect the USB C cable to a known working device (like your smartphone) or use a multimeter to check if power is delivered.
      Note if the device charges or if the multimeter shows the expected voltage.

      - Record if power is being delivered.

      Test the Phone CradlesCradle with Included USB-C Cable:
      - Connect the cradle (with its attached USB-C cable) to the adapter you confirmed working.

      - Place your device in the cradle.
      - Check if the device charges or if any indicator lights are active.
      Process of Elimination
      Compare Results:
      - If one adapter delivers power and the other does not, you’ve isolated the issue to the faulty adapter.
      - If both adapters work fine but one cradle fails to charge your device, the problem likely lies with that cradle.
      Swap Components:
      - If possible, substitute each component with another known good one (for example, swap the cable in the micro USB cradle with another working cable) to further confirm which part is defective.
      Some other questions:
      - Does the cable move when plugged into the cradle?
      - Is the light on in the cigarette plug?
      - When not charging, does the cradle itself have a flashing light?

    Super Convenient and Reliable!

    I’ve been using the iOttie Auto Sense 2 for my car and I’m really impressed. Setup was simple — the suction cup with the dashboard pad is super strong, and it hasn’t moved at all even after lots of driving on bumpy roads. The auto-sensing feature is a game changer. As soon as I bring my phone close, the arms open automatically and grab it securely. It feels really smooth and just works — no buttons, no hassle. The wireless charging is super convenient. It’s more than enough to keep my phone charged while I’m using GPS or streaming music. I also like that it works even with my case on (I use an iPhone 14 Pro in a fairly thick case and haven’t had any issues). Overall, it’s solid, easy to use, and feels high quality. If you’re tired of messing with cords and clunky mounts, this is absolutely worth it. Would definitely recommend.

It sounds as though there may be a sweet spot connection issue. The mount cradle feet can be adjusted into 3 positions for precise alignment, as seen in the image below.
