There are comments about the weight in here but the weight isn't necessarily the issue. It's how far out the product sticks, that good old-fashioned mechanical lever action where you have it sticking like an inch or two out away from the vent and so even without the phone it pulls the entire vent down if it's the looser sort. I solved that by shoving the extra adhesive option into the bottom of the vent to give the grip option something to rest on so it wouldn't yank the whole thing down. Other than that my only complaint is that it's $25 for something that doesn't feel like it's worth that much held in your hand; can hear the sqeak of the springs inside, too, makes me worry it'll bust one day like my old one. Otherwise it's a perfectly clever and functional product.

Fits phone great. Very little movement while driving. I drive tractor trailers and even in such a large vehicle my phone stays put. Easy to detach and attach phone.

Fairly simply to attach and use. Works fairly well, only needing to be adjusted occasionally. Overall happy with my decision to purchase!

high quality. I don't like the idea generally of using my vent for holding something, but it works. have to check on it now and again or it will fall off on really bumpy roads the way I have it hanging but better than I expected. the sticky option didn't work out for me. keeps me safe while driving!

Hokds on my center console vent really well. My phone is on the heavier side and it doesnt droop. Feels sturdy when I switch from portrait to landscape for maps. Quick release is easy to use.

The product was really needed. I connect the product to my vent and it sticks really well. There are times when it becomes disconnected when I hit large bumps in the road, but our streets are terrible. It's very affordable and great for safe driving.

Just as advertised. Well made, works just as it should. Uncomplicated to install and use. Stays firmly in the AC vent and holds the phone securely. Adjusts quickly to fit the phone and quickly releases. I didn't use the adhesive installation, so I can't comment on it.

The iOttie mobile device to hold your smartphone is an excellent choice. Its very easy to install within any car / truck vent to help you navigate when travelling. I love the fact that it will lock into play when your phone touches the back rest. Additionally, its very durable incase it drops and no additional parts need for a slick look. Lasly, i like the fact that you can adjust the horizontal or vertical position based on your preference. The small opening at the bottom of the device is perfect to feed the phone charging cord so it does not enterfer at the resting position. Love it and highly recommend.

I love this for my phone! It was so easy to install on my vent. It did come with a second stick on option as well. My phone is easy to set in and take out (I have a Samsung s25). This also works with my magnetic pop socket on the back of my case. Normally I would have to take it off to fit it in any other model. Plus this is such a good deal. So thankful to have one that holds up my phone and doesnt fall over due to the weight!

I got this for my ford maverick cubby and it works great it just rattles when its not in use

Works pretty well. My vents are thicker than normal (2024 Jeep grand cherokee) so it was a little hard to get on and I have to retighten it periodically but overall I like it.

Purchased this to replace a similar item that was constantly falling off the car vent. This one is easy to operate and clipping the phone into and taking it out of this holder is simple. This mount holds a fairly large phone well (Samsung A35 with a case) and holds tightly onto the vent. It is also adjustable for viewing angle.

This smartphone holder was recommended by a BB assistant, & it seems to work very well. We especially like the easy phone removal (simply push in the levers on each side as you grab the phone) & the spring-loaded button that grabs the phone firmly as you put it into the cradle. This means that taking the phone in or out is just a 1-handed operation! Previous phone-holders that we've owned have been MUCH more difficult to use, & required both hands to put them in or take them out, so this is a welcome change. We don't have a usable (reachable) flat surface to mount it to (which would be best) so we're having to use an air-vent. The vanes on these vents aren't very strong, so we have to be careful not to put too much force on the phone, especially if it needs repositioning. This is certainly not a criticism of this unit, as ALL holders that grab a vent-fin will have this issue. It's just a reminder to others who may buy it to be careful adjusting the phone once the holder has been installed to grab onto one of the fins of a vent.

Holds the phone tight and I like that the bottom foot gives more security. It might be a little heavy on the vent fins, and I worry about breaking them but holds pretty steady.

Perfect of holding your phone if you have an IPhone 8. The ideal weight for this holder maybe too much for anything bigger than an iPhone 8. Placed a 8 plus on holder and immediately fell. But everything else has been good.

Love it! It stays put and doesn't fall while driving like the other one I had. Great price and easy to install. Highly recommend!
