However, the location on the dash is still a little too far away for my failing eyesight. Also, it bounces quite a bit with the car in motion. Otherwise, it does what it's advertised for.

Once the right position was found, I was able to remove the adhesive pad and mount it. It holds my phone now for all my needs w/o sliding to the floor.
