Holds the phone really well and in clear sight, but does not impede driver's view of the road. I use this in a 4WD truck and the phone has never dislodged despite a bit of occasional jostling. The added benefit of the vent mount is that the phone stays cool in the summer.

I must have a grave yard full of car mounts that just don't work which frankly is so frustrating. I mainly need it for when I travel so when a co-worker of mine recommended this one I must say I was skeptical but he assured me it works great. I'm happy to report it does work great and I love it. Used it recently on vacation and it was a dream. Highly recommend.

I didn’t even need to connect the magnet adhesive to my phone/case. I just put the magnet in my case between my phone and it stays put great. For my XR, the magnet holds up best and doesn’t move if it’s in the middle so when I use a wireless charging pad I just remove the case and move the magnet.

I never have to worry about misplacing my phone, while driving and I absolutely hate the way the ones attach to your windshield. This is a great compromise, attaching it to your vent. The only think I would change is new magnets for when I upgrade my phone.
