I bought this for my 99 Jeep. If you know anything about Jeeps, there’s really nowhere to put your phone. It has an aftermarket head unit with a CD player that I don’t use, so this works perfect! I have recommended it to other Jeep owners already.

The phone mount fits well and securely holds in the CD slot. The magnet could be a little bit more powerful. If you don’t get it exactly aligned the phone could come off when hitting a pot hole.

Bought this for the other half and he loved it with his android. We sadly switched over to Apple and their MagSafe products and this no longer will hold up. Had to buy a new MagSafe-specific phone holder.

We had an old iPhone holder that had gotten crotchety in use. This one was super easy to install. We don’t use CDs so we didn’t need the slot. The phone now mounts in a great spot for easy viewing and access but not in the Driver’s field of view for my short wife.

Sturdy construction. Worthwhile purchase. The pressure patch fits this securely in place and the magnetic connection is strong. Comes with two different size metal plates and a sticky protector to apply first to your phone

I like this holder and I would have given 5 stars but the lock switch is right where my volume control is. When I engage the lock I cannot turn the volume knob. Other than that works well and does what it is supposed to

I highly recommend this product, especially if you live somewhere like Sacramento we’re it gets very hot. You don’t have to worry about mounting sticker melting and your phone flying off dashboard while driving. This product is built well.

Good product but the magnetic isn’t very strong and if you have a wireless charging phone the metal plate will interfere with charging if you stick the plate onto you phone

Love it but hate when I want to switch my phone case out the magnet doesn't stick as well. Need to be able to buy new magnets for it and others phones .

This is a good solid product and fits into the CD slot of the audio system on the car. However this didn’t work for me because of how the dash in my cash is designed.

So I seen the photo on here with the one reviewer saying it works on a iPad mini so I'm like yea should work on a fold 3. Only problem is if you care about wireless charging you kinda can put the mag pads center. So the only place you can put it is at the very bottom. So I gave it a shot and see if it *holds up and no it doesn't, the z fold will just slide upside down due to positioning. I then repositioned the mag pad to be center covering the wireless charging point and it works fine. But the plastic strip that you have to place down before applying the mag pad isn't reusable so it didn't stick too long after running over a free potholes. So I'd suggest finding that perfect spot you want the first time because they only give you one plastic strip of padding that the mag pads go on top of before using this magnetic mount. So for me I'm returning it the next time I'm near a best buy. For a phone like the z fold you really only can place the magnetic pads on the center and not the far bottom because it doesn't stay in place due to its size and weight. Sniff sniff :-(

I bought this to work with the vent mount as well for a tablet. 2 or 3 points of contact work great. But if it were just a phone it would be ok. Heavier devices may see the mount flop up and down a bit.

Wish I thought of this first. No one uses their CD player anymore, why not convert that space to something you can use. There is a bit of a shake when driving but nothing serious enough to be annoying.

Pretty good so far nice and sturdy and real good magnetic grip. Im very happy with my purchase just wish it came with more magnetic strips in case u get a new phone.

Very convenient in a Honda Accord, doesn’t block any buttons or the screen. When locked into position it does cause the plastic to bow up because of the positioning.

I've been looking for a way to have my phone stay in view but off the windshield. This was the only CD slot I could get to fit my 2018 GMC Sierra. Others don't hold due to the space from the slot to the face of the unit.

I had purchased this item for my car and decided to get another one for my truck as well, CD slot mount in my experience works excellent and have no worries my cell phone will be falling off from it.

Nice solid phone mount. Would've given 5 stars if the magnet was off to the side instead of centered on the mount blocking the view of the stereo and clock on the dash.

I have had it for a couple days for my Honda Civic 09 and it’s been working great and the plastic goes behind my Apple cover so no one can see I have a magnetic strip highly recommend great for Uber and Lyft

Excellent quality, although the limited range of motion prevents movement laterally.
