I thought this might work with the MagSafe but it didn’t. Then it was weird because it would mess with the charging and the steal under plate didn’t work with my phone case. Returned.

It’s the best magnetic car mount you will ever have.

It works, however it is a little wobbly and my CD player sits low, right above the gear shift. Therefore I need to move my phone in order to shift to reverse/park..

I returned it because my phone kept rotating while it was on the magnetic mount. I went back to using the Easy One Touch cradle model, also from iOttie, which worked better for me.

Use it everyday. Have many magnetic mounts in my cars.

I usually hold my iPHONE SMAX in my right hand as I drive but this device is now making it more useful to mount the phone and still have access. This device installs into the now defunct CD slot on any standard car or SUV and slides into the slot and secures itself by locking it inside safely. The tricky part which is why I would say read the directions, most people have a case on their phone and this device provides a few options for the case, one, a metal piece to stick on to the back or a metal piece to add to the inside of a case so as to secure to the heavy duty magnet on this mount. Now most new phones have wireless charging but if you add the metal piece to the middle of your case like I did, it wont charge wirelessly. You will have to peel it off and move it to the bottom of the case which still works great. I would say read the directions carefully for this device. So far I do like it.

Great once set up in CD player. Careful removing it. Make sure to not use it upside down, could rip CD player slot plastic

Easy to use I was hoping that this was just the ticket. Unfortunately the iPhone 10 with case is a little too heavy to make it stable. Still using it but it could be better

We love having a place to mount our phones in the car. This thing works great except that its a bit loose in the CD drive. We put a little piece of paper to hold it in.

I love the iOttie CD slot cell phone dash mount, especially since I rarely use my CD player in a 2013 Hyundai. Instructions are clear and easy, affording a secure fit into the CD slot. The driver's view is unobstructed and the phone easily rotates to accommodate adjustments. Unfortunately, when I ordered the unit, I didn't think about the 1/4" slab of rubber adhered to the rear of my Galaxy S7 that serves as a convenient pop out easel to support my phone when I watch video, Skype or Zoom, etc. Even through the rubber, the rare earth magnets are powerful enough to maintain adhesion when driving on flat surfaces; but, the phone drops off the mount on bumpy roads. And, in light of the lack of infrastructure repairs we're facing, a high percentage of our roads are local versions of the 'Baja'. The phone mount was reluctantly passed on to a family member that doesn't have a mounting obstacle on the rear of his phone.

This would have been a great gadget that I really need. But the fact that I had to stick the magnet to my phone was a disappointment. I returned it.
