Doesn't fit very tight in my cars CD slot, but may be my car. I don't know. Still holds my phone pretty securely.

The mount itself is difficult to insert into the CD player slot, it always felt like I was going to snap something off.

Its really good idea but its shaking the phone when driving, cat really see anything

It bounces up and down when on bumpy roads. I wonder if it isn’t doing something to my CD player.

It’s a good build fits kinda loose in my Cara cd slot haven’t tried in my work truck yet !!! Would buy again !

Works well. So far no issues. Haven’t used it everyday but when I did it worked.

I’ve tried the outside the case magnet and the inside the case magnet. Both tend to slip over time.

My cell phone falls off the magnetic holder almost every time I hit a bump in the road.

Holds tight but blocks screen with phone. Magnets are not real secure.

It moves and blocks my screen when I'm backing out.

Does not work well with the IPhone but works great with others

Originally purchased this but this does not work in every car with a cd player. I drive a newer impala and the piece could not fit properly because of the volume knob. Luckily I was able to replace with another of their products at the same price.

This magnetic car mount actually holds your phone, or similar sized devices very well. The magnet is strong enough to keep everything in place , even over bumpy roads. I use a Galaxy Note 8, which is one of the larger types of cell phones, and I had no issues with my device sliding off, or even down while in use. Actually the entire mount is very well constructed with a smaller profiled magnet than some of the other mounts out there. I like this because it allows more of my radio and clock to show, when not using my phone. The pivot point on the small arm, is very snug. It was not too difficult to position for the best viewing angle, and held up great. They even included a quick clip for locking it into the CD drive. The mount also comes with a few different sized metal mounting plates, to be installed to the back of your phone or case. It even has a clear sticker to go between your phone and the plate, to avoid any scratching or markings into the back of your phone over prolonged use. I actually just placed the metal plate between my phone and it's case, and it worked just fine, without the adhesive. obviously if you have a very thick case, you will most likely have to apply one of the sticky plates to the exterior of your case for proper usage, of the mount. However, some cases actually have a little bit of metal, that will work just as good as the included plates. Overall this mount is very sturdy, and will hold any phone, or small device into place, at the angle you choose, with no problems at all. I love how easy it is to install, and how strong it is at holding the phone and it's position!

I have tried the CD slot phone holders before, with less than stellar results. Some are fragile, bad fitting or not secure in their locking process. This one is the exact opposite of that. The grippers that slid into your CD slot is rubber coated and gives really great grip inside the CD drive without activating the motor. There is a locking mechanism on the underside that presses the rubber coated slot pieces up and down to hold it tight without too much pressure on the CD drive itself. If the fit is already tight before locking, there is a piece you can snap in and create a slightly tighter grip. It will take a pair of needle nose pliers to remove this piece if used. Just a heads up. The magnet is quite strong and coated to prevent damage to your case or phone. There are two metal pieces included, one large that is designed for under a case. Do not use this piece if you have Qi charging, it will block or slow the charging. The second metal piece is smaller and fits nicely at the bottom of a phone with Qi charging so it will not block nor hinder the wireless charge. All in all this is really sturdy and well built. They also include some added little pieces like a plastic piece to go behind the metal inside a case so as not to damage your phone. The only negative I can give is common with most products today, the instructions are pretty poor. But the device is straight forward enough the poor directions did not bother me as much as it would with a more complicated device. Definitely recommended if you want to make use of that CD slot you have never used in your newer car.

Instructions are confusing and not very detailed. I’m considering returning the item. Magnets are not a combination for iPhones.

Easy to install, holds firmly in place, powerful magnet, easy to reach and use. Only real complaint is that with the phone in place it blocks the reverse camera on the stereo screen. Overall, I found this a much better place to install a dash mount though as it is easy to reach and doesn't slide/move around. I've had others that were dash resting or vent clips and they all moved around a lot.

This did not fit securely in my auto CD player slot. While driving on bumpy roads it would slip out of the slot and the phone would drop. Returned and purchased one with a vent clip.

I have a different brand in my wife's. This one is far too flimsy. My phone is moving up and down over every bump.

I like that it’s small and compact and flush. However, magnet isn’t strong and it falls quite a bit, which is taxing.
