It works! My old magnetic vent clip kept me from adjusting the vents airflow. When the heat was on it would soften the glue holding the metal plate on the back of the phone and it would fall to the floor. Thanks for the best of both worlds.

The magnet is relatively strong and my phone has never fallen off. Real convenient for directions while driving. It would’ve gotten 5 starts except for the fact that it was really difficult to insert at first as the rubber that inserts into the CD player was really thick.

This works very well and I was happy to try it in my car, but when I got home and put my phone of the charger it would not charge. I do have it in a life Proof case and once I added the metal plate it was just to much for my charger so i stopped using the car mount and went back to the old one I had.

This thing is very sturdy. It never one fell out when I install red it in my car. It has a padding so that your phone doesn’t get damaged as well. Is easy to put your phone in and out too. It also has a small insert in case you need extra hold.

Solid product. I bought this with absolutely no expectations and this product delivered. It is a bit on the pricey side for what it does but the product is built well and seems strong. The magnet on the unit is powerful which is great! I’m happy I bought it.

A good phone holder for car, which will work at least for 6 to 8 months with one back plate on your phone and afterwards you have to stick it back again with glue.

In my car the CD slot works out great. Very fast to connect as I enter. Just stick phone out and it’s done! Visibility , location great. Only gripe is needed magnet on outside of case for a tight safe grip. Overall best phone holder I have purchased so far.

Didnt want the usualy mounts on the windshield or mount since they tend to fall off when the weather changes. This fits perfectly in my wife's minivan. I previously ordered another cd slot car mount from amazon and it did not fit so i'm happy with this purchase

Unit is pretty solid, with a slight shake over rough roads, but all seem to shake. The phone covers my dash display, not really a problem. Just be careful where your CD player is because phone covers anything below it. Good quality and strong magnet.

Fantastic Idea. Love this, just got a 2013 Mini that still has a CD changer as much as I would love a new modern dash I didn't have it. This fit the bill perfectly so that I could utilize my phone and have GPS and my phone tools right where I needed them.

I have a 2006 Acura RSX with no modern features. I bought the iOttie-iTap2 on a recommendation by Wire Cutter, the NY Times product review website so I could use a GPS app or talk safely on the phone while driving. I works perfectly. Couldn't be happier.

This is a great product to mount your cell phone for hands free dialing due to the new recent law re using cell phones. This product mounted into my CD without any problem. It is very stable and the actual phone mount can be adjusted vertical or horizonal to support your phone size.

I've had real problems getting a phone holder that works and is practical. The suction ones dont stick and the kind that fit your vent overheat the phone when it's cold outside. This fits in the CD slot and can angle toward the driver. Wish I'd found it years ago.

I bought this to use as an Uber and Lyft driver. It holds my phone really well and is adjustable. It is also easy to remove. I like the fact that it sits lower than a traditional window, so it doesn't block your view, and who uses their CD player anymore anyway?!

So far loving it. Fits into the CD player and with magnets, holds the phone. I live on dirt roads, so it tends to swivel a bit going over the bumps, but, has not yet fallen out. It's 1/2 the price of the one I bought through T-Mobile and works a lot better. Thanks.

I have 2 different types of these in each of my cars, and this one is in my primary vehicle. I have two different magnets and they work perfectly interchangeably. This unit does not take up a lot of space and holds the phone securely while I ride. Highly recommended!

Does the job. I never use my CD player so for me I liked that I wasn’t blocking any air vents or having to use anything on my dashboard. My phone stays secure on it.

Bought this for my Elantra for traveling by myself so I can access my phone along with a bluetooth speaker. Magnet works well, even with the finger ring on the back of some cases. Not too bad to take out if I want to use the cd player

My new go to for using my phone! I have tried other ways of mounting my phone and this is by far the best! I haven’t had my phone fall off once and I can see it perfectly without obstructing my view. I recommend it highly!
