Customers are delighted by the iTap 2's strong magnet, ease of use, and stability, frequently praising how well it holds their phones in place. Many appreciate the product's compact size and straightforward installation. However, some users experienced issues with the adhesive and noted that the metal plate may interfere with wireless charging capabilities. The mount's height was also mentioned as an area for potential improvement by a few customers.

Installs extremely easily. Nice and compact so that it isn't in the way when the phone is attached to it. The magnet part of it makes it nice and quick to grab it or pop it on.

This is very good quality. I make social media real news content while driving but can only do that when my phone is secured to my windshield. I've used many different products and tbh this is the best one yet...As our phones get bigger the struggles do too...The instructions do say to put the metal plate between your case and phone and depending on your situation that might work...I ended up having to to that along with one on the outside just to make sure I had no issues/distractions while driving and it does come with two plates...I moved it a time or two at first but it was hard to do because the suction cup literally sticks where you put it not like the cheaper ones I've had. Along with the sticky suction cup adding in the actual mechanical lever to draw it tight I do not see a issue from it anytime soon...Hope this helps you with your choice...

A great option for a minimal dash mount!

This mount is really good. I had some concerns about magnetic mounts and my belief that they tend to be weak and with all the pot holes that are typical in Queens, I was concerned about my phone popping off while driving. That wasn't the case. Despite a breakneck pace to my local campus for graduation through pot holes and construction sites, my phone stayed planted, well magnetized, to the mount. Installation was easy too! For use on my dashboard it comes with a nice pad which you put down first to help protect the dash. My only wish was I wish the mount itself was a tad taller. On my Mazda 3, with it's curved dash, my charging cable starts to bend a bit more than I'm comfortable. A little extra height or an option to adjust for height would be a great feature. This is a great mount and if you're concerned about magnets, don't be! This does a fantastic job.

Seriously the best phone mount I've ever used. My phone just pops right on and off the mount and I don't have to sit there trying to pry anything apart to set it down. I never tried the dash mount version, but the adhesion to the windshield is insanely good. The magnetic connection feels totally secure even on my iPhone 13 pro max. I've moved it a couple times, and the sticky pad is pretty hard to get off to move it, but it sticks well each time after that, so it's hard to complain about that. The only thing to keep in mind is that the magnetic connection cannot go through wallet cases and cases with popsockets and other handles on them. It could go above or below a popsocket, but you want the magnet in the center for best stability, which might interfere with whatever you use for your grip.

I have one of these, my husband has one of these, and we just got them for my parents. They would hold their phones and look down towards their lap for directions, which is so dangerous! My dad was worried about having to put adhesive on his car, but he went ahead and did it. I love that we can change out whose phone is on it since we all have the magnet.

Works great in marine application. There is a thin adhesive pad that affixes to the surface for the placement of the mount. The magnet that holds the phone is secure. It was tested on a boat ride and I am impressed with its performance even in choppy water, the phone didn’t move.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE! I normally purchase my mounts from amazon and have never really loved them. They were usually unstable and poor quality, This one however is great! I told everyone I knew about it after I purchased it. I have a textured dashboard and this sucker gripped on and hasn't let go. The magnet is STRONGGG! I never have to worry about the phone moving or rotating while driving on bumpy roads. This mount has saved me endless frustration and I am kicking myself for not buying it sooner.

Sturdy, and phone holds well. I have an iPhoneX and had to stick the magnet pad that comes with it. Did not want to use the bigger Patch so It wouldn’t cover my Apple logo. Used the small one and thought it wouldn’t hold up, but it does hold up.
Since it is rather small the flexibility of positioning the stand is rather limited but again, it does the job.
Then again, because it is small it takes little space away from your dash board surface.
All in all, it did nos disappoint. It didn’t wow either but got the job done.

sits tight on my angled dash (which is not a smooth surface), super easy to install. and it stuck before i even had the suction lever down. swivels and tilts for the right angle. great magnet and metal phone cover inserts keep it upright, removes easily from mount. and i can now plug it in while it's in the device.
the magnets do take up some area on the back of phone or on the cover, but it still fits on an apple iphone magnetic charger with careful placement.
all in all an extremely simple and functional holder for the price.

I bought this looking for a better mount then the vent mount I was using and I love it. It was super easy to install on my dash and it gives me great visibility to my phone. I was most impressed with how strongly the magnet hold my phone. So easy to get in the car and just place the phone on the mount. No vibrations bouncing the phone around while driving making it hard to see/read the screen.

I have tried a few different phone holders and so far this is my favorite. I was weary about the suction cup but it actually works. The only issue is when its been in the sun all day, it may lose some of its grip but its easy to reattach it to the dash.
The magnet is very strong and its usually my fault if my phone falls off. The best part is that because it uses a suction cup, you can travel with it.

If you prefer to have a sleek look to your phone or do not want something protruding out of the back of your phone like those ring holders then this may work for you. They give you 2 types of magnet one small and one large. Being that the bottom is a suction cup you can place it either on your dash or windshield. I put mine on the dash as at times I cannot see my corners while driving when it is on the windshield. Overall a great way to hold your phone.

I would definitely recommend this cell phone mount! With it being magnetic it's easy to place my cell phone on the bass as well as removing it. Just a simple grab and go! I took the magnet and placed it on my phone behind my case so it's not even visible. It holds my phone very well. I'm still able to keep a popsocket on my case and I placed the magnet just below. Even though the magnet isn't centered on the phone it still holds it upright even when I hit bumps.

I bought this mount to try mounting my iPhone from the lower/underside of my truck’s dash. At first it did not adhere well, but after wetting the suction cup a bit it has held on very well. It comes with a 3M pad to go on your dash that the suction cup sticks to. The mount’s magnet works really well with the metal plates that can go either inside your phone case or on the outside.

This was a replacement for the same product that i had for a few years, which did finally just break. (Spring attachment for suction cup broke) But it’s unobtrusive, simple, and simple to use. Phone stays put right where i can see it on my dash to the right of the steering wheel.

I bought this because of the simplicity, no wires or charging promises. It did come off the first time I placed it on the provided sticker base, but has remained in place since the second. Going on three weeks now and in varying degrees of summer heat. I only wish it came with extra “circle stickers” incase I wanted to reset it in another spot or vehicle.

The magnetic parts are strong only issue was getting it to stay stuck on my dash. I glued the main part to the base to make it stay. My dash does not have a flat surface near where I needed it
