Posted .Hi there, I'm sorry that you have faced this negative experience with the iTap 3. Have you tried tightening the cradle knob? There are no other plastic piece, but it might be that it was not tight enough. You would need to remove the air vent mount from the air vent, position the cradle to your desired position, then tighten the cradle knob, and finally, attach the vent hook mount to the vent. If that doesn't work, to quickly resolve this issue, please contact iOttie Customer Support. Thank you.
