Functions exactly as intended. Charging speed is adiquit, magnet holds phone very secure no issues with mobile devices coming detached. I am currently using a Samsung phone with a magsafe style case on it but works equally well on my wife's iPhone. The telescoping function works great to enable more precise phone placement.

This holder is outstanding. It handles all the bumps of the rough terrain and my phone stays put. It’s easy to setup and manuveur.

Normally I would have taken this unit down from my windshield re adjust or it would have fallen down with the heat and humidity. This device has been so good I bought it for everyone in my family that has a vehicle. I’m not sure how a product can be made so much better over the other products. I have been taught and I have passed it down to my kids. “We are not rich enough to buy cheap products”.

It’s alright. I like it for the fact I do not have to mess with it when wanting to mount my phone for gps. Pretty slow charging. Gets super hot. Would I buy it again? Probably not, not for the price. But the phone sticks excellent as long as you have MagSafe case and remove your popsocket

Lifesaver, but the side screw does come loose every now and then. No matter how much I tighten it. So far, just a minor inconvenience. I hope the threads do not become an issue. The suction cup is strong though.

Wish the usb-c cord was detachable, sometimes the phone falls if something tugs on the cable. Over all super strong magnet though, I really love the setup and how easy it was to mount onto the windshield. Definitely worth everyone y you pay, no invention is perfect so I can bare with the cable. I like it !

Great phone holder, strong magnet and pretty fast charging.

Very sturdy so far and easy to put in. Minimal look which is also nice. Had held my phone well so far even on some bumpy roads.

It’s nice looking but it doesn’t charge as fast as I wanted too. It has the C charge cable. The MagSafe is not that strong it’s good enough to hold the phone and have minor bumps on the road. But if your doing all terrain road the phone will fall.

This started off as a great product and then just stopped charging. And the company doesnt even have a phone number that i can call since im still under warranty . Smh expensive and not worth the money unless u got money to just throw away.

Its a nice product but its just 7.5 Watts so dont expect a full MagSafe fast charge like when its hooked up to a full 20watt MagSafe Disk. This will be good for keeping the battery at or near a full charge for sure and will charge the phone for sure just not real fast. It is very sturdy and seems to be made of high quality materials as iOttie products have always been. This is not my first iOttie suction mount phone accessory so at least for now I opted to not use the included disk to mount the camera to the dash. (A DC outlet plug, ASA cigarette lighter charger plug is also included) For the time being as I try this one out I placed it directly on my dash right beside my iOttie dash mount phone holder. I will run it a while there and try it in a few other places in my car and then determine its final home in my car or in my wife's car. It is easy to adjust and holds my iPhone 14 Pro Max in place while driving. The magnetism it provides seems to be working for me just as if it were a genuine Apple MagSafe product. . But with all MagSafe accessories, it only sticks so good and may come loose if you hit a huge bump in the road or something like that. That may vary from case to case as the cases thickness could affect that magnetic adhesion, But with that being said, I find this dash mount charger/mount to be a good little charger to have around for your travels.

First of all, I gave this phone mount a rating of 4 out 5 stars. The reasoning behind my rating was because even though the mount worked well, I found some things I didn't like. First, the adhesive round mount provided did not stick to my dash material at all, so I HAD to use the windshield. Second, the charging caused the mount and my iPhone to get very hot. So much so that on a few occasions I couldn't use the camera flash until the phone cooled down considerably. Third, the extension column that allows you to extend the mount reach is coated with grease, so beware every time you reach behind the mount, the grease will stain clothing if you're not careful. Now with the negative out of the way, the mount did stay on the windshield because the suction cup worked very effectively. With the phone removed from its case, it did hold the phone well while driving through a variety of terrains, and it charged as it should. The item came in a small, all recyclable packaging and it came with a cigarette lighter power adapter that has enough power to charge an iPhone 12 Pro Max. So overall, this phone mount works, but it's not without issues...

I got this mount because the mount I was using was a vent mount. The way my car is set up, that became very inconvenient, as my phone would cover some controls on the front panel, not to mention if the heat or ac is on, your phone becomes a phonesicle, or a phone-tart. This mount can be mounted on the windshield or the dash area, score. Whatever suits your fancy, it’s a nice option to have since car interiors are so different, and driver preferences are all different. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max, with magsafe. That sucker is a big ole heavy phone. I was concerned it would not take the bumps and speeds of the road. At first ,I mounted the stand on the dash and drove for about an hour. Before I got home the mount had fallen off, and turned on my blinkers. DOH! I got back home and realized that the spot I mounted it was not too level. I adjusted it, and it has been fine ever since. I’ve driven to my parents house which is 300 miles each way, and went to work for a week before writing this review. She’s holding solid captain! They way it mounts, if you mount it on your dash or panel, is with a flat plastic circle pad with extreme stickiness. Then you place the bottom of the mount (rubber suction cup)on top of that and close the suction cup lever. Dash mount is self-explanatory I would think, it’s a suction cup. I will say, this mount can twist and turn and bend in multiple ways depending on how you want it to be orientated. I’m not a windshield guy, but hey, to each his own. It is a charging mount as well, so there is a cord hanging down, at all times, which I find extremely annoying, and the only reason why I’m giving it 4 stars. It’s the little things Jimmy. But seriously, even though it’s such a small detail, it’s a huge missed opportunity in design in my opinion. Make the cord a plug-in to the mount, that way if you don’t need to charge your phone, but you want it on the mount, you can unplug it and not have the cord all over the place. Or even if you don’t want to ever use it to charge your phone, you can have a really nice mount that your phone will not budge from when driving. I tucked the cord the best I could, but still, having that option would make all the difference in the world.

THE BREAKDOWN: This Ottie Velox Magnetic Wireless Dash & Windshield Mount is a great MagSafe compatible mount. This mount can be used on the dash with the included plastic dashboard pad, or you can mount it on the windshield. Let me be clear up front, make sure you like the place you put the “Extremely” sticky dash pad down before you do because you will not get it off easily. Also make sure you like the arm length because the arm does not extend. The arm does move up and down, but it does not extend. If you are a windshield mounting person, be sure that this thing will stick to the windshield just fine. I have tried both positions, but I am a dash guy. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max with a MagSafe case, and I was worried my phone wouldn’t hold on the mount. Boy, was I wrong, it had no issues holding the phone in place. I felt as if the cord was long enough when using it on both the dashboard and the windshield. It has 7.5 Watts of wireless charging. Enough to keep my phone charged while using navigation and streaming music while traveling. It also included an USB-C power adapter. PRO’s: - Easy to set up and use - Beautiful and sleek - Charges great CON’s: - No Telescopic arm SUMMARY: Overall, this product worked as intended, and I would recommend this to a friend if they were in the market for a device like this.

I would like to have rated this charger higher, but the minute I plugged it into the power socket/lighter the 12v power adapter came apart into several pieces. I attempted to put it back together again, but the two metal pieces hat make contact with the circular piece of the charging port are very difficult to keep in place during reassembly. I was able to purchase another inexpensive 1.5A adapter and use the charger. It worked just fine as you expect a charger to work. The charging surface, telescopic arm and pivot joint are all very sturdy and the suction cup adheres to my windshield very well. It also comes off easily when I removed it. The power cord also seems sturdy and is long enough to easily reach the power outlet in my SUV. The magnet is powerful and holds my iPhone in place while charging via MagSafe. My cell phone does not move around while I am driving. I really would have liked to have had a better experience with this product, but the poor quality of the adapter makes me suspect about the overall quality.

The Velox Magnetic Wireless Mount from iOttie is one of the most recent releases from this company. This mount is well built and has some heft to it. It has a ball joint and telescopic arm to make viewing angles better. A suction plate is also included should you decide to setup your phone in your dashboard. But I have noticed that the built-in suction cup is strong that the you can do without the mounting plate. But in my case I have installed the mount on the left side of my car’s windshield. What makes this different from most magnetic mounts is that thus is MagSafe compatible. Using my iPhone 13 Pro with a MagSafe case, the magnet is strong enough to hold my phone. Though personally, I would prefer a stronger magnet. (But it’s no dealbreaker for me.) And unlike most MagSafe mounts out there, the Velox mount also has wireless charging capabilities. The charging capacity of the mount is only 7.5W which is way off the maximum 20W the iPhone can handle. But this is a limitation of wireless chargers. Chargers with a higher capacity tend to overheat and often times deemed not safe. There is not much more really to describe the Velox Wireless Mount save for the fact that it is a premium and well built MagSafe wireless charger. And though it may priced at a premium, it is still a good buy as competition in a similar price range do not have built-in wireless capabilities. I would highly recommend this charger.

The iOttie velox magsafe phone charge and mount is many things. I’ve had a lot of different kinds of mounts. But in the Texas sun those mounts were hot and my phone was hot. I didn’t feel safe having them in the sun. However the design of this mount is a lot different. I feel like this mount has 3 separate components and hat don’t allow the temperature to carry. Which is a great for how long I keep my mounts in my vehicle. However I am not a fan of the long cable or the charging end which will only plug into cigarettes lighter end. Which I have an older car that I change it out to be a usb charger only. My older car doesn’t have a large windshield area so the size of the mount is very scene but again it’s exactly what I need. Cell phone mount and a charger all in one is always a good idea though, so I’m making it work and I’m a huge fan of the function and it’s ability to suction or stick to almost anywhere in any vehicle and the charging function is fast. Lose space but save time!

This thing is perfect and just what I was hoping for. I used to have a magnetic mount that clipped into one of my air conditioner vents on my dash. It worked ok in my old vehicle but when I got my new car it would fall out at least once a day, so I was worried that at some point my screen would get cracked. This new mount fit my requirements to a T. It has a great suction cup base that adheres great to my dash, and makes it so it doesn't obstruct the air vent. My dash is a bit strange in that it slopes down away from you and towards the windshield, so I was worried that I wouldn't get it to attach and orient the phone towards me. It ended up working great. The versatile telescoping arm let me position it perfectly where I wanted it, and it hardly took any time at all to do the entire installation. Both the suction cup base and the MagSafe are really solid. This thing has never become detached since I got it a few months ago. Having the MagSafe charger is great. I just stick my phone on, the MagSafe grabs it and it starts charging. Nothing to plug in (after the initial install).
