This air purifier is rather large, but that is a good thing! It can cover 1125 square feet, and I’ve found it has made a difference for me. As a person that suffers from seasonal allergies, this year has been particularly bad. I’ve been using a basic air filter which has seemed to help a bit, but the IQAir has made a large difference. I tend to notice allergies later in the day, and can tell there is a reduction when the unit is running. It is nice that it has a remote and is also programmable. It is also very quite, adding a faint white noise which is rather pleasing to me.

IQAir HealthPro Plus really clears the air in my 1280 size basement in a little over 2 hours at high speed fan. It comes with a convenient remote control and detachable wheels. It also comes ready to go, no assembly required... well other than attaching the wheels. The fan is really powerful and quiet at low level settings. While it won't win awards for design, it definitely does a fine job at removing the bad odors of my basement. The reasons for the 4 stars are the loud fan at high speeds and the way to change filters. It comes with 5 carbon filters that do a great job at removing but to access them and the HEPA filter is tricky via the brackets that hold the control panel. Despite that I will get another for my mom's place.

I have allergies and a propensity to get asthmatic bronchitis quite a bit. My office which I share with my canine friend is about 600sq/ft. On a normal day you can see dust/dander/fur visibly floating through the air. And it's not due to a lack of cleaning. I have (had now) 2 cheaper HEPA filters strategically placed in the office. And still stuff was floating around. In comes the healthpro plus. It has been running well over 24 hours now. Not only is there no dust or particles of fur/etc floating in the air - the air actually SMELLS lighter and clean - I know that sounds weird. But it's true. Now, according to the instructions you don't have to have the unit on 24/7 to get the maximum effect. With that in mind there is a schedule/timer so the unit can kick on and off at your discretion. There are six "Speeds". The highest, #6 is really the only one I would consider slightly noisy. VERY slightly. My old cheapo HEPA filter systems made it sound like a 747 was about to land in my office. This on the other hand is just an audible HUM. The speeds are really just to use according to the size of the area you are filtering. #6 is if you were trying to filter an 1100sq/ft or so room. #2 or 3 which is basically silent does the trick in my office. And I do love the fact it comes with a remote. The difference between this unit and other I have tried is that this is actually "HyperHEPA" which can filter down smaller than a virus and bacterial cell! It is a 3 filter system so the only con will be when it's time to replace them. But what is the cost of your health in the longrun? This is a very wise investment with that in mind.

Thank God Mr. FedEx ground driver was able to bring the unit up the stairs to my condo landing. There was a box inside a box for extra shipping protection. Assembled unit with optional casters (wheels). Quickly ran thru a few commands on the control panel to get it going. Remote control is easier to use. Too bad machine doesn’t work with the Google Home App. So no voice commands at the moment. It’s really not that quiet. But I can live with that if machine does what the videos claim it does. Suggest you watch two quick videos from manufacturers website to get an overview of product. Did I mention I have COPD ? Hope relief is quickly on the way help cuz I need help !!

We hope your long term experience with the system is exceptional. We have a suggestion regarding adding “Smart home/voice function”. While the HealthPro plus filters Ultrafine Particles (down to 0.003 microns) we typically recommend filtering the air whenever you are in the location. Typically the Timer Function of the unit is sufficient to turn the unit "on and off" when no one is around or "on" an hour or two before you get home.

That said, you can always utilize a smart plug to turn the unit on and off, but you will not be able to change fan speeds. The unit will remember it's last fan speed when turned off, so when it turns on, it turns on to that fan speed. A smart plug might allow for a more detailed schedule or, you can use Geo-mapping to turn the unit on and off. If you wanted "Voice Control" just be sure any smart plug you purchase works with Amazon Alexa or Google’s Assistant for voice control.

If you have any questions or simply want tips or suggestions to get the most out of the unit, give our Tech support team a call (888) 560-1020 IQAirNorthAmerica

    Got this for my wife

My wife was taking an allergy pill a day because of her bad allergies. I originally had this in our living room, but realized we only spent a few hours there during the day so I moved it into the bedroom and run it at night on fan speed 2 while we sleep. I'm a very light sleeper and I can't hear it. Needless to say my wife no longer takes allergy pills on a daily basis. She only takes it when she feels an allergy attack coming which is once every few months. The unit does have 3 filters and when compared to other air purifiers I've owned, these are substantially larger, so I understand the price point and how this unit can filter so much smaller than less expensive units. All I know if this unit works!

Both of us have seasonal allergies and we got this purifier to see if it would help. The good news: yes, it was a huge help reducing allergy issues substantially. The bad news: anything above speed 2 was too loud for my husband.
