Does a good job but not very smart.

Very nice mop. Gets the job done but it’s pretty stupid. It gets lost a lot and doesn’t make it home. I have a half inch thread hold between my hall way and the living room and laundry rooms. My mop thinks it’s a wall so once I programmed my 1 story house as 2 stories and pick up the mop to go to my “second story”, it does a great job! Considering it’s cheaper than the vacuum, his lower IQ is understandable.

This robot is a companion for my Roomba j7+, and they do a great job cleaning my main floor, but this robot isn't perfect. Its main downfall is threshold, or those little transitions between different types of flooring. Once the smart map is built, you can create little zones where transitions are. The robot will turn off its rug/carpet detection in those areas so that it can go over the thresholds. This works maybe 25% of the time. My entire downstairs is hard flooring, but the mud room and bathroom are tiled and there are transitions. The Braava has made it into the mud room multiple times, but it has never made it out, despite me messing with the zones. The thresholds in my house are pretty big, but its still annoying because its physically capable of making it over. I wouldn't be surprised it this was improved in a software update. Other then that the robot is very thorough and makes life way easier. Compared to my Braava 240 this thing is so much more efficient and thorough. The 240 frequently got lost but this never does. I also love the ability to schedule a cleaning where my Roomba vacuums and then this mops or sweeps. If you have a large hard floor with no thresholds or very small threshold this robot will be great. TLDR: Get this if you have large hard floor that don't have thresholds the robot can get stuck on.

This mop did a great job on my floors even on it's first run on floors that hadn't been mopped in a while. When I got this mop, my laminate floors hadn't been mopped in about 3 months. They were vacuumed every day, but only spot cleaned when something was noticeable. I was pretty sure I was going to have to use the old mop and put in some elbow grease to give this mop a chance to keep up. I tried the mop first and I was really impressed at how clean it got the floors. After it was done there was just one spot in front of the door that needed cleaning so I put it there and did a spot clean. It did fantastic. In the end the only hand cleaning I needed to do was on pine tree sap that got tracked in. I recommend getting a container to mix and store the cleaner in so that you can top off the mop after each run. Otherwise you are waiting for the mop to totally empty before you can mix a new batch of cleaner. I also recommend getting the reusable pads since the disposables can get expensive.

Great product , does it’s job well for a robot and not myself having to take out the mop. Recommend using the dust attachment every now and then prior to using the mop attachment. That way the floor gets a better cleaning and can give a more accurate view of how well the product works. Battery life is better than expected and it learned my floor layout rather quickly.

I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this product is. I schedule it as needed. Only con I can think of is that you have to use a specific cleaner for it. Other than that, I highly recommend it. I works great on my hardwoods floors. Not noisy. Mapped the house quickly.

Like the mop for its convenience, being really stupid about making its map of the floor plan thou, keeps failing to update map. Ending up taking it to the area I want to mop and letting it go to work.

I had a Bissell Crosswave Cordless Max for almost a year before buying this. I wish I had just bought this first before dealing with the bissell. The Bissell was always gross and disgusting to clean out, and if I forgot to dump the tank right away, the area around the mop/vac would have that gross dirty mop water smell. The Braava has a simple pad that can be removed and dumped (if it's the disposable one) into the trash and a new one ready for the next day. I don't recommend the smallest Braava Jet 240, as it is not very smart and has to be manually recharged. This Braava works with my i7+, which tells the mop when it's done so it can start the mopping. It's very much worth the time it saves me. I just wish I had bought this a year ago.

This mop has been a time saver for me it does a very good job on linoleum floors and I don't see any streaks like some people say. The only issue I have with it is it can't map my house becuase it won't go over the transition strips I have between the floors and carpet. So I end up having to move it around. Otherwise I love it and the Irobot roomba i7t got as a package deal.

I love my original Roomba Vaccum, but this Roomba mop is another story entirely. I thought I would love this M6 for mopping as well, but in the time I've had it, it has NEVER completed a job, and I've had to retrieve it from a stuck condition EVERY single time. Consider this - this robot can not navigate anywhere near as well as my now two year old 980 vacuum. The M6 has also NEVER, ONCE successfully mapped my entire house and struggles TERRIBLY with basic, standard floor transitions. Until there is a significant software update, I can't recommend this robot to anyone.

Used the older Braava Jet 240 for a few years. Worked ok but wanted something to clean more area. The Braava Jet M6 delivers. Once you use the app to do some training runs, the machine works great. Very quiet and does a good job of cleaning. Moves from room to room no problem. Definitely recommend this.

The mop does a decent job on lightly soiled areas....never really had it clean heavily soiled areas, so I dont know how good it would do. The Bona cleaner they tell you to use for the Braava leaves streaks on my tile floor. I run it every other day with water only and only have to steam mop once a week now.

I love this robot mop. I did 2-3 training runs and then customized the room boundaries and labels — even subdivided the kitchen and dining rooms to make the tables their own “room” so I can skip under the tables for most cleanings. I use only water in the tank and it does just fine. (If I’m doing the entire house it needs one refill of water.) It’s not a quick clean (neither are robot vacuums) but it does a good job. It does leave wheel tracks but they aren't very noticeable after the floor dries. Be sure to buy the washable pads too. I’d definitely buy this again.

Leave the mopping to the Braava Jet

With 2 dogs, keeping the floors clean is a major challenge. Luckily with the Roomba and Braava Jet M6, cleaning the floors is no longer a chore. With similar making technology as the Roomba, the Braava Jet makes a map of your home which allows you to add room labels, extra clean zones, keep out zones and where any raised threshold are located. It takes a few cleaning cycle to get the map complete. A tip if it doesn't find all the rooms, place it in a missing room and press clean. The Braava Jet should then find it's way home and add the new area to the map. I suggest getting the reusable cleaning pads to reduce waste as we have to change the pad after every cleaning. The unit will wet mop as well as dry dust/sweep. It's better to have it run after the floors are vacuumed. If you have a Roomba I or S series, you can schedule the Braava to run after the Roomba in the app. App is user friendly and easy to use. I am currently taking with support in regards to the fluid tank, mine currently is having some trouble reading as full therefore it won't start the cleaning cycle. Support had been very responsive and is even looking into sending me a few new parts to correct the issue. This small issue is the reason for 4 starts rather than 5 because I would have preferred it to work straight out of the box.

The concept behind this robot is very cool, but - no matter how hard I try - it just doesn't work for us. The first few trips out it attempted to map the rooms, but the results were some sprawling mess that repeats some areas by attaching the copy to another area. It would be nice if the Braava could use the map generated by the Roomba. After a few mapping runs, we tried to get it to mop the floors, but it couldn't undock itself. We've cleaned the base and wheels, but it just spins its wheels until it gives up. So now it just sits under the bookcase looking like it has potential.

Great little mopper...I turn it loose as needed and have all fake hard woods. It works pretty great and really beats using the fake mop I had...it does have its limitations but honestly for me to not have to mop on the regular is excellent for me.
