Works best as a mop, but will do a decent job sweeping floors, too. Generally maps areas very well. One area took a few tries to get the whole area and didn’t want to clean the whole area in one job either, but it was admittedly a difficult area. Easy to learn to use. Best for keeping areas clean, not to clean very dirty areas. Best to use reusable pads. Throwaways work fine but cost adds up. Best Buy delivery fast, good.

Works well, but we have uneven floors so it misses some spots. It is very quiet and easy to use. We just seem to be unfortunate with the wavy floors.

This is a cool device, my only issue is that you have to use the cleaner from the manufacturer, as any other cleaner may damage the internals of the robot. If your floor is dirty, it may take a couple of cycles to get it clean, but it does a good job of maintaining floors. I would not personally use it for too dirty of messes, more just to maintain.

We've had the Braava jet for almost two years. It cleans well but not as well as Swifter mop. It occasionally get lost when moping and try's to mop areas that are marked on the mop as carpet.

We use the mop every day on wood and tile floors. Works great!

For being a robot mop, it does really well! My only “complaint” is that it doesnt make it back to the base. Ive probably ran it 10-12 times in the past two months and it has only made it back to the base once. Once i can tell its done i just pick it up and put it back myself.

Really like this mop. My only drawback is on the mapping, I have a little wood piece to blend my hardwood to the the kitchen floor, and it will not go into the living room over this little rise, and I have a few of these between all the rooms, so I am unable to get her to mop a certain room unless I take her to it. But as far as the mopping, I am very satisfied with that. Just don't expect that it will travel from room to room if you have any kind of divider. It surprised me because I have the Roomba vacuum and it goes between the rooms effortlessly.

Having this mop go out after our vaccum is a great idea...But! I dry mopped,sent it out to map, next day wet mop. It made a map and I went to deck it out with rooms, zones and some thresholds, then it would not work. I was trying to dry mop with the correct pad and it made the red ring. Look at the app NOTHING. Look online to figure out how to make it tell me what is wrong and it said it one time and would never tell me again. Just sat there crying its chime and its red ring. Finaly figured out next day, it says the map on the app and the map it has on board doesnt match so it goes no where. Delete the map and it runs thru the house. Its been a very fickle thing, cant tell if its about the water tank, the map, or what the discrepancy is. After making a new map it was fine going to a specific place but later i tried adding one zone, then it red rings and wont run, like its lost. App never tells me what the issue is even though all the info I read says it should. I can forgo having zones but i am a bit cross that adding thresholds upset it, so it wont go in my bathroom. Im too afraid to put it in there and have it red ring. I have come home to it crying its chime for who knows how long even though it was fine the night before. Even with its fickle problems I think it mops well and gets the job done. I wouldn't recommend this mop to a friend because the price was high and its been a struggle that i wouldn't wish to a less tech savy friend. My husband alone would have just taken it back but but I have always gotten it back to working so Moe (from wall-e) stays.

When I first got it, it wouldn’t go over my room thresholds but after enabling the threshold bet feature it makes it out of the kitchen and into the living room! It can’t hurdle the bathroom threshold, and it’s been getting back to its home base more than it used to. It’s learning! It can’t get sticky dirt off the floor, but it sweeps and mops lightweight stuff fairly well. It doesn’t necessarily get ever square inch even if it is unimpeded. My floors are getting swept and mopped far more often than if it were just up to me.

Easy to install and does a quality job at cleaning. Struggles with recognizing my coffee table and kitchen island.

This thing is great! It sweeps AND mops. Navigates tight corners. Gets under more of my furniture than I thought it would. It runs a long time on a full charge & if it runs out of juice, it goes back to it’s base, charges, then goes back & finishes the job. Cleans very well and it’s quiet! I love it!

Recommend for flat hardwood floors only. Very smart mapping to avoid carpets and rugs. No scrubbing. If you have ceramic floors with slight cracks between tiles, I believe the braava might not do much in those cracks. (But I have not tried that). All this robot does is slide a flat pad (wet or dry) over the surface. No scrubbing at all. Know what you are getting. I am happy with this mop, BUT my expectations were realistic. The braava jet will go a little beyond the powerful sweep of the roomba (depends on your model), and trap the remainig smal particles of dust and hair with its wet pad. When used in combination with a sweep before mopping, hardwood floor looks great afterwards. IF you use the iRobot cleaning solution, the area will also smell very nice and fresh. I havent tried other brands of cleaning solution as mine came with a lot of fluid. Other Pros: works well with google assistant and iRobot vacumm to coordinate sweeping and mopping. iRobot products are very smart, will map your home well, and at least in the one-storey multi-room apartment with mixed hardwood and carpet where I use the mop, I have had zero issues. Cleaning Spills I have not used the dry pads to clean spills, but my guess is they would do a good job absorbing. I keep the braava equipped with a wet pad, not a dry pad (thyere different). So it seems a hassle to me to walk to the braava jet, swap pads, put it down, and go to the app to select a zone to clean and send the robot. Probably takes 3x time than just grabbing a paper towel and doing it yourself.

I love how deep this cleans hardwood floors even after our roomba s9 vacuums every morning. I have this set to mop twice a week so I need to change the pad and add fluid once a week. I’d love to see some dock that can refill the fluid and clean the mop head to keep maintenance down to once a month. Also, this is our only iRobot, s9-980-&m6, that needs a lot of light for the navigation to work well. Not really a problem since Alexa is programmed to turn on lights for mopping and vacuuming when needed.

This a great robot mop by iRobot. It includes a few throw away wet mop pads as well as a sample of the solution needed for the M6. It does pick up paw marks from a dog quite well on dark hardwood floors. The only negative I can say about this robot mop as stated by other owners is that it does leave streak marks throughout my floor but it’s not that big of a deal for me. In the end, I’m satisfied with this purchase.

I love this little robot! It does have some quirks. Pros: 1. The reusable pad that came with it work like a charm. Works with Alexa. 2. Runs quietly. 3. Insanely easy to set up. and setup in Alexa equally easy. 4. Wife no longer tells me to mop the floors. :) (My favorite part) Cons: 1. I got two reusable pads from amazon.(Yes, they were I-robot pads.) First time use with the new pads the robot (named Clyde) get high centered on the grout lines now and then. I have since run them thru the wash and will see if that makes any difference. 2. Clyde does not do corners well. He leaves gunk where the left wall meets the right wall. 3. He does not get close to the carpet in the living room. He leaves about a two inch edge of tile, that he will not clean next to the carpet edge. Even though I have a exclusion zone set up and have moved it back and forth trying to get Clyde to mop closer to the carpet. 4. He sometimes gets lost when he parks himself. Would like it to: 1. I would like to use his name to activate. IE: Alexa ask Clyde to mop the kitchen. Instead I have to say Roomba. 2. Have it mop closer to the carpet. 3. Have a light on top so I don't have to leave a light on for him to mop. So I can have him mop in the middle of the night.

This machine has been a great workhorse for me. It excels at sweeping my hardwoods and the mopping is great. For me, 4 stars because it cannot navigate my transition strip. Don't hesitate if you dont have a transition strip.

I love having this. It really does a pretty good job and saves my back. It maps out the house and if it runs out of battery, it recharges and goes back and starts where it left off. I ordered and like the washable pads and it will also do a dusting of the floor surfaces between mop jobs. I ordered the reusable washable dusting and mopping pad. The only downside I see so far is it leaves tire tracks when it mops. But the convenience of it doing the mopping far outweighs the tire track lines.

If you have thresholds skip this model. This is actually a great robot mop. When it comes to its ability to clean the floors I am completely happy with it. However, I had to take it back. I have small, tile-to-wood floor thresholds and this robot can not navigate them. So it can not reach half of the places I need it to clean without me picking it up and moving it over a very small threshold.
