Customers are saying
Customers highly value the Braava jet m6's cleaning performance and ease of use, with many praising its quiet operation. While some users found the navigation and mapping could be improved, and a few mentioned streaking or a small water tank, the positive feedback on cleaning effectiveness outweighs these concerns. The price point was also a factor for some customers. Overall, the robot mop receives positive feedback for its ability to clean floors effectively and efficiently.

Do not buy if you have thresholds
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have thresholds skip this model. This is actually a great robot mop. When it comes to its ability to clean the floors I am completely happy with it. However, I had to take it back. I have small, tile-to-wood floor thresholds and this robot can not navigate them. So it can not reach half of the places I need it to clean without me picking it up and moving it over a very small threshold.

Ok for a developing product
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Now that I have owned and used the mop for a few months, here is what I think: THE GOOD- Mop starts right on time every cleaning day, and follows a predictable pattern of cleaning on our tile flooring. is very quiet, and does a decent job of surface maintenance. THE BAD - you have to re-fill the too small cleaning solution container too many times. The tile section for our floor is about 1500 square feet, and I have to refill the container twice every time it mops. It is also fairly slow to complete its work, Im sure why it is so slow as compared to the Roomba. Keep in mind this is not for cleaning big spills or really dirty floors, the Braava Jet M6 is best for maintaining a clean floor. If the iRobot product designers are listening, on the next version PLEASE give the Braava the capability to re-fill its cleaning solution container automatically from a reservoir. Bottom line, I think this is a good product, but not great - Yet. It took the Roomba a few generations to get good, and hopefully the Braava M6 will get some needed upgrades as well.

Could be better.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a Roomba i7+ I have previously reviewed with high praise. It was my delight with that product that brought me to buy a robotic mop; the highest end one iRobot offers. I did not get the same satisfaction. Where the mapping abilities, and low maintenance of the vacuum got my admiration, the mop fails. Changing the pads and refilling the tank keeps the mop from being hands free after almost any mopping, it’s the mapping issues that make it a waste of time. The mop will not cross over any threshold in my home. It is a newer home. And even though it’s the same flooring in several areas, it will not cross over any rise, therefore preventing it from crossing from one room to another without picking it up and moving it. Mapping is made useless. To mop I have to pick it up from the base and place it in the room or area to be mopped and press clean all to cover that area or room, and repeat over and over. I can’t even preform the mapping/learning modes. The mopping job itself is adequate, but the hassle and constant attention needed makes it anything but a helpful, time saving, robotic mop I don’t think it was worth the money. Especially since I bought to do certain rooms at a time and worth with my vacuum. Save your money and get the cheaper model. Doesn’t pay if you can’t use the bells and whistles you pay for!

Very good product
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unlike the Roomba, this does a pretty thorough job of cleaning the entire room. My only complaint is that the Bravaa cannot climb anything above 3mm. That may seem like an obvious thing, but if you have any sort of divider in your house that separates two rooms, you might want to consider building a ramp or removing the divider entirely. The Bravaa will not make the climb. Because of this, I've had to make a separate Smart Map for one room.

Almost there
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Finding the irobot specific liquid cleaner is exceptionally difficult. I used Bona like it states you can and it didnt come out the way it should, it just dribbled out. I ended up playing around with the amount of soap to water ratio and it works much better. I am also not looking forward to trying to find more cloths as that isnt looking too easy either. I gave it a 4 because i like the overall concept and it works really well as a dry cloth sweeper. I intended it for it's mopping so Im going to keep playing around with the soap to get it right.

CLEANS WELL, SAVES ME SO MUCH TIME
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mop saves me so much time. I run my roomba vacuum then program the mop to start an hour later. I run it in the night and it's so quiet you wonder if it turned on. We have hardwood floors and tile entry and laundryroom and it goes seamlessly between them. I noticed streaking one time in the laundry room but it was especially dirty from dogs going in and out so I set the jet to release more solution and ran it again. Turned out briliant. The only tiniest complaint is that the hall is carpet and meets tile. The mop turns slightly on the carpet to complete its tile job and the carpet gets wet at the edge. I think I could program it to change that inch or two but it's so slight and dries fast that I haven worried about it. I invested in reusable mop pads. I have not tried a dry cycle because I have a roomba vac.

Good work but recent frustrations!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It mostly does a great job but it has an annoying tendency to say the tank needs more water when it is already full so it forces me to keep trying to add a few drops of water into it or take out the water tank & try to replace it several times before it will work again. Just recently, after two years, it's lost the whole frickin map of our home so I need to go through that painstaking process again so I haven't used it for the last month! Can't iRobot save these maps online somewhere?!? But when it works it does a good job.

I want clean floors & I cannot lie...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hands down the best purchase I made in 2020. I want clean floors but we both work full time and have 2 messy toddlers, so Braava M6 is a life saver, especially after meal times... Our home is mostly tile/wood the M6 is perfect for us! AND it's SO QUIET! I clean the floors daily because the M6 barely makes any noise... I've run both the dry sweep and wet mop feature. I had a dry sweep pad on the mapping run and it picked up a lot of dirt/dog hair in places that I never can get to with a normal vacuum unless I move the furniture... I was extremely impressed. I love that it maps the house & I can send it to specific rooms & target "cleaning" areas AND set a schedule.. ex: under the kitchen table at 7:00pm... you can also hook up to your smart home device (which i have done) but it's just as easy for me to grab my phone and do it.

Poor mapping, mediocre mopping, poor value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased for a ~1500 sqft home with all hard floors and a few rugs. Main disappointment was with poor navigation capabilities and tedious user experience, providing overall poor value. Cons: - Requires two successful cleaning/mapping passes before any modifications to the map can be made, including placing keep-out zones; you must clear out all obstacles beforehand and baby the m6 through these first two passes - If the m6 gets stuck/trapped during a mapping run, the entire mapping run is considered invalid - Cannot perform a mapping run unless either a wet or dry pad is attached - Treats small transitions as if they are stairs/edges; while these transitions can be "ignored" in the app, you can only do this after two successful mapping runs - We have a transition that is 3/8" down over 3 inches (a ~7 deg decline) into a bathroom; the m6 can make it into this room but not out, and acts as if it is at the edge of the stairs; since it always gets stuck in this room, it can never complete a mapping run that includes this room, so we can never tell it to ignore this transition - Relies almost entirely on its bump sensors for mapping edges; pushes even relatively heavy objects (like a half-full indoor recycle bin) without triggering the bump sensors - Drives full-speed into walls and obstacles the first time it encounters them - Requires indoor lights to be left on in order to navigate optimally - No scrubbing action on the mopping pad produces mediocre cleaning results; using windex + paper towels on the floor after the m6 performed two cleaning passes still picked up dirt - Always asked for the water tank to be filled before cleaning, even if I literally just filled it up; removing and immediately re-inserting the water tank made it happy - Does not provide real-time location or mapping; no way to see where the m6 thinks it is or what the map it built looks like until it's done cleaning and back at the dock - Cannot lift mop pad, so cannot traverse a carpeted area between two hard-floor areas Pros: - True edge-to-edge cleaning; the mop pad extends slightly out past the edge of the m6 so it can get right up against the edge of the wall - Re-usable mop pad and some iRobot cleaning solution included - Mops in nice straight lines with good overlap, after tracing out the edges of the room/obstacles - The app is good overall, but just has seemingly arbitrary limitations (like no live view, no ability to edit map before 2 successful passes, etc) - The cleaning solution seems to help the floors dry faster and leaves them smelling clean and fresh - Spray jet for the cleaning solution and adjustable spray amount emulates a hand mop - Can coordinate with some high-end (over $600) iRobot vacuums to vacuum and then mop - Good build quality, decent water tank capacity, quiet and precise movement At $450, the m6 is just not worth the money. Even on sale at $350 the value proposition is just not there. My Samsung POWERBot from 2018 has better obstacle avoidance than the m6. And any LiDAR-equipped alternative is going to be much easier to work with. If the mopping pad at least vibrated like the Braava 240, I might considered sticking with it. In the end I returned this and purchased a $650 Roborock S7, which has LiDAR, vibrating mop pad, real-time mapping and location reporting, live keep-out-zone creation, carpet detection + retractable mop pad, oh and it vacuums at the same time. I still use the iRobot cleaning solution with the S7. The single issue have with the S7 is that it leaves about a 1" un-mopped border since the mopping pad doesn't cover its full width. Otherwise the experience, especially right out of the box, is just so much better than the m6. Overall, the m6 is a poor value with the bare minimum functionality out-of-the-box, despite all of its supposedly high-tech features. Other manufacturers are producing more innovative and user-friendly products that provide a much better value.

Cleans well but has issues
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love the mop feature. It absolutely leaves my floors spotless. But I will be honest with some issues we’ve had. 1. Undocking. At first it was just fine but it wasn’t long before it started having undocking issues. Now it’s too the point where it WILL NOT undock by itself. We always have to give it a little push each time it starts. There isn’t anything in the way preventing it from undocking, and we can’t see anything stuck underneath it either. 2. Dry sweep. I personally don’t like this feature because I feel that it just pushes the dirt and crumbs around as not everything will stay on the pad, especially when it backs up. So I simply use the wet mop mode instead. 3. Sometimes it ignores the “no go zones” we set up on the app. Not sure why but all we had to do was delete and recreate those zones. It wasn’t hard just an inconvenience. If there wasn’t an annoying undocking issue with each use, I would give more stars.

Reliable, dependable, ease of use, does the work w
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been in user of iRobot Roomba for many years now. It is reliable, dependable, ease of use, does the work well as expected, keep the house clean, removes the dog hairs which is important, and the dust. After the dry it’s important to have a wet wipe as well and that’s the reason why I purchased the Brava. And I’m sure all the adjectives above will be applicable for brava as well. With the monsoon around I needed the Paw mark and the mud to be removed. Best Buy is a place where I usually buy and why not when there is a price match guaranteed. The store manager and employee did a quick check and insured invoicing was smooth.

Its name is BUBBA..
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.5 stars because it is probably the best one on the market that I know of. Simple to hook up and use with the app. It takes some time to map out the house but does a really good job at getting in the corners and underneath everything. We pay a crew to clean the house every two weeks which includes mopping but do you think they clean under the furniture and the beds? Ha.. This little guys ventures into those areas they miss. Underneath our bed has never been so clean except for when the flooring was initially put in. Overall it works as expected and performs really well. Definitely a hands off approach other than filling the water tank and changing the mop or dusting pads.

Basically a robotic swiffer wetjet
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked my i7+ vacuum so much I bought the m6 as well. The m6 is definitely not quite as good at what it does as the i7+ though. As far as function, it is basically a swiffer wetjet on wheels. It does do a surprisingly good job of mopping up even larger spills, but the main drawback is that you need to change or clean (if you have the reusable ones) the pads basically every time you run the mop. Also the cleaning fluid tank is fairly small so you will need to fill it often as well depending on the size of your floorplan. The mapping and navigation also seem to be slightly worse than the i7+ even though they are advertised as being able to work together. When you setup the m6 the map from the roomba does NOT transfer over, they are separate maps. I also have noticed the m6 gets 'stuck' and can't find its home base occasionally, which never happens with the i7+

So far so good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't had this unit very long or have used it a lot yet, but my first impressions are "OK". It does have some problems docking at times when it's completed. I'll get an error on the app that it couldn't dock but when I look at the device it looks like it's docked just fine. Taking it off and putting it back on the charger seems to cure that. Took a pretty long time to map out my dining room/kitchen/living room/foyer area (in my house it's all connected), but now that it has, I'm looking forward to trying the zone mapping capabilities. The trial size of the liquid included is woefully small. I just ordered one of the washable pads but haven't tried it out yet. Overall though it seems to do a good, pretty thorough job of cleaning, although takes a while (on medium setting). Hopefully newer software app versions will be a bit better also. There are a few YouTube videos which I would recommend watching that review this device if you're interested in buying it.

Amazing Companion
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a game changer, especially if you are connecting this to an "Imprint Link" device (Roomba 900 series, I7 or S9). I tell the Roomba to vacuum and given options to have the mop run immediatley after. Currently I am running a cycle that every other day it vacuums then wet mops and on the other days it does a dry mop sweep of the tile and hardwood. Mapping takes about 4 runs to learn your lay-out and then you can specify which rooms you would like to clean. I have not tried this on any overally messy spots, but I can clearly see a difference from the day we brought it home until about a week later. The floors look and feel a ton better. Only downside... if you use a cleaner other than the iRobot product it will void the warranty and the cleaner they recommend is very difficult to find in stock. I happen to find a local Lowe's that had 5 bottles in stock and bought all 5 since I wasn't sure when it would be available again. however, you can always run it with just water and it still makes a HUGE difference! Pro Tip: Get the washable pads. They will save you a ton of money and honestly, I think they are better than the reusables anyway.

Surface Cleans, Navigational Quirks
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product has been a pretty convenient thing to have after moving into a much larger home with all slate/wood floors on the lower level. Does a decent job cleaning, though it really only works on the surface dirt - anything really stuck onto the floor will require a regular mop to scrub out. Navigation is where it falls a little flat. I have a vacuum with LIDAR support and it runs circles around this iRobot when tracking around the house. I often find this trying to find its way out of a corner or get stuck in a carpeted closet somewhere. Also, unlike the LIDAR supported vacuum, I am unable to track where it's been and how much more it has left to do. This does seem to be one of the better mops on the market right now, and would purchase again if nothing with better navigation was on the market.

Wish that I could give 10 stars
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the BEST iRobot product, in my opinion. Yes, I love my Roomba, but this mopping jet is where it's at! Number one, it is soooo quiet! Number 2, I really like the fact that is goes in straight lines, you can see where it has mopped. Number 3, I like the fact the the app lets you see the places it has mopped; a map. Number 4, having both reusable and disposable pads is a plus! If you have a we have about 1100 sf of mopable space downstairs (I've excluded area rugs and the one carpeted bedroom) and this gets every part! I still spot mop with Bona, but run this 3 times a week. We have LVP Mohawk flooring.
