Customers are saying

Customers highly value the Braava jet m6's cleaning performance and ease of use, with many praising its quiet operation. While some users found the navigation and mapping could be improved, and a few mentioned streaking or a small water tank, the positive feedback on cleaning effectiveness outweighs these concerns. The price point was also a factor for some customers. Overall, the robot mop receives positive feedback for its ability to clean floors effectively and efficiently.

Set up will take time to complete, but well worth it. Mapping as they call it takes the time. The bigger the place the longer. When I mapped the first time I left out two bathrooms and one bedroom. To add them have to remap all of the rooms. Wish you could just add them to the original. Unit cleans well with there soap. Was a little leery on using it after reading the reviews about. But I have had no problem with it on my tile floors. Did by the reuse able pads and I like them. Machine runs quitter than I thought it would. Did notice that seems to run faster as it really learns the layout. And it does not run when it is in a dark room. Either run during the day or make sure the light is on.

Love this mop. I used to spend hours mopping all of the hardwood floors and now I only have to fill the container and tell the mop to run. It takes the mop a few times to map out the area but once that’s done, it works nice. I gave a 4 star because it does leave some streaks behind.

Not much more I can add that other reviews haven't already touched on. If you're expecting a deep clean from what is basically an automated swiffer, you'll be disappointed. I would recommend a nice thorough manual mopping to give you a good place to start, and then let this mop do the maintenance work for you from that point on. Once you have that baseline, it actually does a great job keeping the floor clean. It's smaller than I expected, and it takes a long ... long ... long time to mop my floors, but it's cool to set it and forget it. If you have a threshold that is any more than a tiny speed bump on the floor, don't expect it to be able to make it over. My first floor is basically divided by very tall thresholds, so once it finishes one half, I have to pick it up and have it mop the other half in a different session. Pricey for what it does, but it's not really meant to be something practical, more of a luxury at this point.

I paired this with the i7 Roomba. I really do love it, but it can get frustrating at times. For instance, sometimes it will tell me that there’s a blockage in the path, and I that I need to remove the item. When I go to the Braava Jet, it’s sitting in the middle of the room with nothing around it. It can also be a pain having to constantly change out the wet pads with each run, but it’s something I can live with. I’m not lazy, it’s just that I really love smart home gadgets. It does have a more difficult time mapping out my floor plan in the app compared to the i7 Roomba, but it eventually does clean majority of the floors. Also, the water tank with the cleaning solution seems to run out pretty fast. I have about a 900sq ft downstairs, and majority is covered with carpets. So I’m surprised that I need to refill the tank at least twice (once before, and once during the run). Overall, I really like this Braava

Decent product with decent performance. It will not exactly map out your home the way it is laid out. Sometimes gets stuck but overall does a decent job. It is way overpriced in my opinion and maybe some of the cheaper models do the same thing.

I wanted to fall in love with this mop. Hopefully as much as I feel in love with my Roomba. On our first date, I actually was in love with it. I tried to ignore the streaks it left on my dark wood floor. New relationships always have some issues. I just fiigured it was because I used tap water and too much cleaner. However, after I switched to purified water and little to no cleaner, it still left streaks. It also left light wheel marks on my floor and a light haze. I then tried using re-usable pads! But no luck. So after a few fun, but non-productive, dates, I gave up. But I must say the technology is fantastic. I just think on dark, wood floors, the technology is not advanced enough yet. Once they get these issues worked out, I would probably buy another one.

This unit works great, has an easy and informative interface and app to control the operation. It also does a good job on making sure to reach as much of the floor space as possible and has a quick recharge time. For those wondering, it is able to wet mop my 300 sqft kitchen and dining area in about 1h 30min on standard and between 2h and 3h for deep cleaning (depending on my furniture layout). Even at the highest water usage setting and deep clean option, both the battery and water container were enough to not need to stop and recharge to complete the mopping. My only complaint is that this unit comes with 2 dry and 2 wet disposable pads. These were used up by the end of the week and required that either i spend more to get more disposable pads, or spend to get washable ones. With the cost of the unit already so high, I would think that they could include at least 1 washable pad that iRobot sells separately so that this doesnt become an expensive brick after 4 uses.

This little "mop" is great! We use it on wood look tile floor and do not have any issues with streaking. It mops about 1200sf of tile floor in about 90 minutes and couldn't be happier. It quiet and gets along the base board. I use the Bona cleaner and sometimes I use Fabuluso for a little extra scent and it leaves the house smelling very nice. Pricey? Maybe but this will clean your floors morning, noon or night. I usually run mine at night after everyone is asleep and have no issues. Even the dogs leave it alone.

Had the robot mop for about a month and it’s been great. Also bought the Roomba Vacuum 640. Smart maps in the app are awesome so you can choose which rooms to clean. It doesn’t get stuck too often; really only just under the edge of the fridge and one of the kitchen cabinets. After you find the trouble spots where it gets stuck often you can set keep out zones on the app so it won’t go in there again. I was skeptical at this price tag but it’s exceeded expectations. In short, totally worth it if you have hard floors and have the money to drop on this. Just remember to buy some cleaning solution and reusable wet mop and dry mop pads.

The mop worked great for about a year then everything kinda started going bad. It would have "undocking issues" and just not undock anymore so it would skip its cycle. If I helped push it off the platform it would clean but didn't seem to keep great mapping anymore and the cleaning solution wouldn't spray out anymore, it just kind of oozed out onto the machine and would drip down. The top button/flap that you lift to put in the solution also came loose about a month in. (Doesn't affect anything but still inconvenient). Would buy if you are looking for a one-year solution but don't expect this to be a several year thing. Always used this product after my Roomba vacuum (which has also broken now) so it should've had an easy mopping job almost every time but I guess not.

I have only used it once it does a good job at mopping I don’t know if it’s Worth $500 tho. I also have a vacuuming one that one is well worth its price mopping one it’s nice that it has its own home and I can tell Alexa to start it but I don’t know if that makes it worth $500

Good for Light Spills and Mopping

After 3 months of service here are my findings ... Overall good for a light mopping, not great at heavy mopping. Suitable for areas where a quick wet mop is needed for still damp messes. Not so great on dried spills. If you need to wipe up anything that has dried you'll need to do it by hand. For a dry mop on hardwood floors it works well to pick up the dust. Wet mop feature on hardwood floor work well for damp messes. You'll need to change out the mop pads regularly as they quickly grow mold (even with the iRobot mopping solution in the tank). A tank fill will outlast the pad. Definitely recommend using after a sweep has been performed either manually or with a linked roomba. Voice command works well. This unit doesn't have as many communication issues as my s9 vacuum.

I was skeptical about how well a robot mop would work and I was pretty impressed with this product. First… my entire downstairs is hardwood or tile so it’s perfect for me. I wouldn’t say that this mop “deep cleans” but to get up surface level dirt and grime it does a good job. I imagine that it saves my actual mopping by 75% and it’s nice to use. The other thing I’ll mention is that, unlike the robot vacuum, this is pretty quiet. It can be used while you are on conference calls or on the phone. All in all very happy.

I paired this M6 with the Roomba S9+. The M6 was about half the price of the S9+ and has actually worked better. After getting stuck on a thick carpet, the brush motor on the S9+ stopped working with in the first a couple days, which prompted me to exchange the product. I fear that my new robot will do the same, outside of the return window, but I was willing to give it at least a try. The M6 has not had any issues, besides once having some hesitation getting off its home base, which I attributed to maybe some debris under the tire, although I really did not see much.

The first one I bought had a sprayer problem and would only dribble down the front of it. I tried to fix it, which I shouldn't have to do on a brand new item. I returned it. The second sprayed and mopped great and swept just as well. It does not like the threshold strips and either won't cross them or if it does it can't make its way back. It would become stuck in rooms because of the strips. I tried different strips to no avail. Once irobot works this issue out I would be more than willing to purchase another one as it did clean pretty well.
