This roomba does a better job than its predecessors. It suctions better and analysis maps differently on a different app.

I've had a few different vacuums because online reviews said x was so much better! But Roomba has just been historically the best buy for the money. This one works the best, i have hardwood floors and some carpet/rugs. Its easy to use and just works. Does great with dog hair!

Roomba has worked great. Does a good job of cleaning and is easy to setup.

This is my 5th IRobot, and it seems to be working pretty well. Not as powerful as the previous version, but it is quieter, except during self-cleaning. My dog has issues with this version; he is not happy.

I like all of the features except I wish my older Roomba would work in the same app. I am nervous for the transition of iRobot to a different owner—I hope my personal information doesn’t get shared outside of the United States.

We have four cats in our house. We own two of these units. Each are named Jim because like the Jim's in Shoresy - they're "Such f-n beauties". They are scheduled to run every-other day to keep the cat hair and litter tracking contained. Best of all they avoid obstacles and don't drag cat puke around with the sensors recognizing and avoiding it.

Still has difficulty going over uneven surfaces like the edge of a rug but much quieter then older models. Collection bin is a game changer for those with pets that shed a lot. Would rate as a 4 1/2 if I could. Would buy again!

Scorched earth is the only rule this Roomba lives by. Roomba sits patiently while the dirt and pet-hair builds-up. When I launch within the App, boom - goodbye dirt, pet hair, and my doubt! Works surprisingly well! if you’re lazy like me, avoid work now by making this purchase. It’s easy to use and continues to exceed my expectations.

This works so much better than the shark I replaced. The shark was like a wrecking ball just bouncing off everything. This goes right up to the wall or furniture without hitting it. The shark also didn't make it back to the dock at least once a week. So far the Roomba made it home everytime.

The vacuum cleans pretty well. The app is not very intuitive. It's difficult to create cleaning routines, and it seems to be impossible to delete one if it's not what you want. Overall, I'm happy with the cleaning but very disappointed in the app.

Fantastic upgrade from previous versions. Smart vac works great and so easy to skip rooms if necessary. Easy set up and doesn’t get itself stuck and doesn’t fall off the ledge like my last iRobot. Definitely makes my already super busy life easier!

Much better vacuum than in the past - wish the trash bin was larger but it works - needs to be bigger for dog hair

I had the j7+, the time I had it perfect job. I bought this one and I love it, it has many ways to clean. It's much less noisy than the last one.

This is my third Roomba, and probably the smallest footprint, but they need to correct the problem with network that contain symbols. It took over two hours to get back to me what the problem was.

Excellent product, great at navigating around the house and avoiding obstacles. Our 8 month old infant loves to watch the Roomba run and cheer on our sheepadoodle as she drops bones in front of it to try and stop it from moving

Best robot vacuum I’ve used so far, but replacement parts are costly and it’s loud when it docks. App features are terrible and editing errors in your map are near impossible. It took three scans to get my very basic home mapped “correctly.” Automation is very clunky. The app needs serious help.

We upgraded from another roomba that included a mop feature which we did not really put to use. This one is great and powerful and keeps our floors clean

This thing is amazing, it’s hand off truly from mapping your house to cleaning it. Never had a better time cleaning :) can transition between rooms and carpet/hard floor/mats. Never stops.

So far vac is great! Much quieter than my old one.

My iRobot 705 vacuum is the best thing I ever owned. I have 6 kittys and I run the iRobot on a everyday schedule. I had one previous and kinda got tired of emptying it. So I invested in the AutoEmpty Dock Model and now it does it all on its own. Perfect for my kitties and me.
