This is the 2nd unit I own. The first one (a 900 series) is fantastic - so far the first unit has lasted 3 years with no problems at all. The 2nd unit is the upstairs unit. I have both units working daily, and both units handle rugs (both with and without tassels) excellent. The 890 also avoids falling off the stairs automatically. Although if I had to do it over again I would have bought another 900 series. The cleaning of the two are equal, but I just like the user interface of the app for the 900 series more - that is why I gave it 4 stars. I liked this product so much I gave one to my parents.

Does what it claims. Keeps the floors clean and as a result, there seems to be less dust in the house

I got this Roomba on thanksgiving sale. I ways very excited to use it in my entirely carpeted house. However, it keeps getting stuck a lot. Also after a few weeks of usage, now it kept telling me to empty the bin even when the bin is hardly full. I reset using the app but still same error... it cleans a very small carpet area and stops and announces me to empty the bin. It's annoying. I have started to pull out my dyson more often. So that kind of defeats the purpose. However, since the technology is still growing, I'm going to recommend it for what it is.

It's only 2 weeks since we have this iRobot. Cleans well. The app is very nice. Easy to learn. My grandmother should also be able to use the app. It could climb over small obstacles and cleans bathroom rugs also very well. Easy to open and remove entangled hair. I like it.

I love my new roomba! Instead of having to sweep every day due to all the pollen falling from the trees, clinging onto our shoes and spreading all over our floors, I schedule the roomba to turn on every morning and it erases all that was done the day before! Love it!

I love my iroomba because I don’t need to vacuum but a few glitches exist: not a good sense of where it has been, getting “hung up,” and not going home without instructions.

Roomba is my little helper, it helps me save time doing the sweeping chore for me. I took off one star because I find it loud compared to other models.

I love my little Skippito (aka Roomba)! It's totally worth it for a busy working mom with too many tasks to tackle in a given day. It's great entertainment too! Highly recommended.

I can set it to vacuum the entire house for me while I'm at work!!! I absolutely love this Roomba!

I have 2 dogs that shed a lot of hair and this roomba is great at picking it up. Its so Easy to use. You do have to be careful if you have area rugs. I have orientals with fringes and sometime the roomba gets stuck in the fringes. Other than that its great.

We have a Saint Bernard and another medium sized dog in the house and this thing really picks up the pet hair well. You may have to empty it a little more often at first but it's worth it. Very nice machine and the battery last a long time.

The Roomba is expensive compared to some other robot vacuums. I have two. The first one bought in 2018 is reliable but needs regular upkeep -- new brushes, rollers, etc. -- as I run it through all rooms weekly. The second one is more finicky -- sometimes launches off its charger on its own, then does little doughnut patterns before trying to return. Maybe tied to the wi-fi feature, even though I don't control it that way. All in all, frees me up to do other things instead of boring vacuuming.

We love our new Roomba. It is easy to use. We are able to let it go and do its job. Got it for a great price. Best Buy always has a large selection of products. Able to purchase through their on-line shopping and the pick up....great.

The 890 does a great job on cleaning up pet hair. It finds its way into each room. My house has only ceramic tile and hardwood flooring. The 890 is Everything advertised.

This vacuum works great cleans well, works on pet hair. One problem is that it does not work on area rugs with a large step up it sees these as a obstacle and goes around them

This has been almost life changing! We have a Basset that sheds terribly and showed very badly on our dark bamboo floors. We have it running everyday and it is amazing. Highly recommend.

If your schedule is anything hectic like mine, then you don’t have time to worry about sweeping your home. My Roomba is a life-saver. It’s the second one I’ve owned and I would not go without one. It picks up well after my dog that sheds like crazy. Money well spent.

I love watching this thing scoot around the room. couldn't believe all the hair it kept gathering up (wife & daughter) love being able to schedule it from anywhere.

My first 'robot' vacuum. Loved my Dyson, but didn't have the time to constantly run it (with 3 dogs, it was constant). When it finally died, i upgraded to this little guy. I wasn't sure it would deal with the pet hair, but I've come away pleasantly surprised. It will run for about an hour, and after the first few days, stays on top of the dirt and dog hair. I find the 'full bin' sensor touchy (it reports full when it very much isn't). I bough this just before the newest model came out where the vacuum will empty itself into the dock attached bin. Oh well. For the price, this is a very good vacuum. Very happy.

take the work out of housecleaning. These are absolutely great! tehe only thing i wish is that i had the one that has the self dumping after cleaning. Other than having to empty the bin after cleaning, it is great! So happy with the purchase.
