I love my Roomba. I have no idea why I didn't get one sooner. I kept telling myself it wasn't worth the money, I guess. I WAS SO WRONG. This thing is the best invention ever. I can't believe how great it works. My whole house is tile with just a few throw rugs. Cat and dog hair tumbleweeds were a neverending battle. Well, not anymore. If you are on the fence, just get it. You won't be sorry. The only thing I am disappointed about is that it is too tall to fit under my bed and too wide to fit between the wall and the toilet. If it were a bit lower profile and square it would be PERFECT. Alas, even without these attributes, It is more than I had hoped for. Get it!!

Love the methodical pattern this Roomba uses. It remembers where it left off when it needs to recharge in the middle of the job and then completes the job. Hardwood floors shine! Thorough cleaning along baseboards and edges of furniture.

So I am not the best at housecleaning. Actually I hate it and most of it gets done when I pay someone to do it. Just being honest. However, I do have allergies so I had a real need to "do better" at cleaning. The Roomba 980 has made it all so simple. I am amazed and shocked at what it is picking up. I run it all the time because its so easy and works so well. If you have a need to switch between carpets, rugs, tiles, wood floors, this is the model for you. It runs between these surfaces without any issues, including some bathroom throw rugs that are fairly plush. Yes its a bit costly but so far its worth every penny to someone like me that hates cleaning!!!! Im still in my first month so if over time I change my mind I will stop back in and update my review but for now, if you can affored one of these and have the need, I say go for it. You wont be sorry.

I love my Roomba. It has made my house floors look so much better. The suction that it has for cleaning the carpet is great. The laser light it uses to block certain areas is so much nicer then the magnetic strip the Neato brand had that I tried (and returned). I can move them and change what rooms are cleaned that day. With rhe mobile app I can see when Boomer is cleaning, when he's done or if something is wrong (like when he got a string from a sweatshirt hood wrapped around his brush and stopped). I can also schedule what days of the week & time of the day he cleans. The only thing I don't like is that it is too big to go in between the chair legs so I have to pull my chairs out from my bar and dining room table for it to clean under them. Even with that it has been well worth to have it.

Good - The app is nice to check where the Roomba has cleaned - Scheduling is a breeze through the app - The vacuum power has increased significantly and picked up a lot of dirt even after my old Roomba cleaned the house - Like the neat feature of it automatically charging in the middle of a cleaning session. It will continue to clean the house afterwards! - Changes suction power on carpet vs hard floor. Bad - For some reason it doesn't always get onto my rug (maybe the rug is too thick)

Bought as a gift for my daughter. My first daughter has a home with 3 dogs and she says it help tremendously with the hair. It has cut down on her cleaning time every week and is a nice addition to have after company comes over. The app feature works great and the convenience of being able to start a cycle while at work is amazing. The machine does take some babying (filter cleaning, emptying the bin, cleaning the rotators and bristles). But overall the work on the roomba is worth all the help it does around the house. Major disadvantage is the charging time, it take roughly 3 to 4 hours to vacuum a 1600 square foot house.

Great for keeping my floors clean in between my deep cleans. It is great for picking up pet hair and daily cleans. I use it almost everyday. Allows me to do other things while it does the vacuuming. I do have to empty canister often and I always wonder if it missed a spot. That is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars and the price.

This really makes my life easier. The product is simply amazing.

A great device which works on it's own with a no hassle set-up and schedule. We loved to see it cleaning on the first day :) Pros: 1. Hassle free set-up 2. Access roomba from anywhere (Roomba app) 3. Cleans on a schedule Cons: 1. Too Loud 2. At times, it's difficult for the Roomba to reach the home base (When you place the Base/charging station in a corner). I placed it behind my dining table, and it's not directly going back to the base straight away and takes multiple turns and paths to reach the base. 3. Need to empty the bin frequently, frequently. 4. As it's Wifi enabled, if there is any dip or wifi is not reachable, Roomba stops!!! 5. It goes over the same cleaned area again and again! Not sure, why.

Ability to connect via wireless to turn on from literally anywhere (even while you aren't home!), cleans thoroughly, will get stuck from time to time on shaggy rug and is not the quietest, but overall very happy with this purchase!

This is amazing!! I heard the Rooma was good but it has exceeded my expectations. Easy to set-up and care for...it has helped tremendously. I wish it weren’t so pricey - would be great for people with physical limitations.

The Roomba is a master with dog hair. Run unit every day in 4000sqft single level tiled house. Already have cleaned over 400,000 sqft. Have changed rollers and filters twice. Has saved tons of work.

Nice vacuum. Does nice job cleaning. Battery life is good.
