This is a great buy. The fact it will clean a hard to clean rug is great. I ran a test run just to see what it would do and it cleaned half the house before I shut it down. I like the fact it cleans under furniture it can get under. It's great for dog hair pickup. Plan to run a full test tomorrow to see how much of the house it will clean before it has to run back to its port. Worth the money I say

Purchased two; one as a family gift. Does great job ! Great for picking up after pets.

Replaced an 800 series. While expensive, it does a MUCH better job, especially on pet hair.

This item does a great job of vacuuming on carpet or hard floor. It has no problem going from tile to carpet and does not get stuck unless it wedges itself under an immovable object. It picks up a lot of debrsi. It is a bit messy to clean after running but I used a small tank vac to clean it up after emptying the tank contents in the trash. My main complaint is that I have not been able to connect it to my home network so that I can control it with my phone. Hopefully I'll get this resolved. I would recommend paying less for something without the networking feature.

I love this vacuum. Works great. Picks up much more than my upright vacuum did. Its so nice to be able to have it vacuum while at work so it doesn't disturb anyone.

We got the Roomba because we have two parakeets and a hamster that are constantly kicking out fluff and seeds on the floor that then get tracked all over the house. Having the robot clean up every night has really reduced the mess and it goes about it 80% of the time with no thought on our part. The only work is empty the unit of dirt every 4-5 days and about 1-20 days it gets stuck on some furniture.

Eliminates frequent use of normal vacuums. Roomba can be used and controlled remotely.

My wife is really happy with roomba and she change the name to Angel because it same her a lot time that she can use it other things at the home. I got a big house two stories and roomba takes 1 hr 50 min to clear each floor but the quality and clean work is really great. The roomba can be move it to the second floor and it will work correctly. It doesnt same the map, it build every time it make the work.

It does a great job on the tile and carpet. It is amazing the way it works its way around the whole house and back to its charging base. Love it!

Everything you need in a vaccume that does its own thing.

Love my Roomba 980. If you prepare your home for the robot by arranging furniture so it can get behind for cleaning and pick up small things like waste baskets and throw rugs, tie up computer cords and shut doors where you don't want it to go, just press start and let it go. She's my new best friend.

I am so glad I got the roomba 980, after reading many reviews we decided to splurge and get the best one. My husband loves that he can operate it from his iPhone. It's kinda loud but we usually run it when we are at work. Love it !

I am a pet owner and can't believe what a difference my "Lurch" makes. I was shocked when I emptied it the first time and have been every time after. It seemed to know its way around my 3 bedroom 2 bath home immediately. I have to dust less as well. I set it for Mon., Wed., and Fri. and he returns to home base to recharge and then finishes the job. Love it and wished I would have purchased yrs ago.

My wife and I named her Shirley and she has done a great job keeping the floors cleaned. Shirley goes from room to room cleaning and somethings gets behind a door and closes it where she can’t get back out but send a message to our phones telling us she’s trapped I would suggest that if you have indoor pets these vacuums keep your floors clean. Wish I would have gotten one earlier

I was very skeptical at first. After a few runs I realized how amazing this vacuum is! It does a fantastic job at vacuuming up everywhere around the house.

I am very satisfied with the overall performance. After reading other reviews before purchasing this vacuum, I noticed that it takes a few vacuum cycles before the robot gets more acquainted with the space it’s vacuuming. After the first few times, it really speeds up with every time it vacuums.

This thing has saved my sanity. As with everyone these days, we live a very busy life. But being able to schedule my cleaning (we have one for each level of the house) while busy doing other things and a few hours later have my carpet and hard wood clean, is just the best feeling in the world.
