I bought this Roomba 980 when we moved into our new house. The house has a relatively open floor plan, approx. 2155sq ft. The first floor is all hardwood flooring. And my second floor is carpet.So I bought the Roomba, hoping it would do the job. I have only used it on the both the floor. The Roomba 980 does a great job!!! I know this is a little pricey but I am a pretty harsh critic with stuff like this and I think it is worth the every penny. I have a couple of area rugs and the Roomba easily moves onto and off the rugs. I usually have to empty the machine once before its done. Before the battery dies, the machine does return to its base to recharge! Pretty amazing! It's good to be able to get some other stuff done while the Roomba does the vacuuming.

I bought this because I hate to vacuum but I like clean floors. I have carpet, hardwood, and linoleum and this thing never fails to amaze me at the “stuff” it picks up. When it finishes a job it draws an actual map of your house where it vacuumed! I’ll be getting the mop soon!!!

I had originally purchased a 600 series roomba. The robot was clumsy, didn't work well, would constantly get stuck and was frustrating to deal with. I took it back and purchased this one and wow what a difference. It gets every inch of your house (I have a 2 bed 2 bath apartment). It still gets stuck like the other one but the mapping system is infinitely better for a deeper clean.

We LOVE our Roomba 980! Best purchase we've made in a long time. It cleans our almost 2200sf home and seems to get better every time. We have over 900sf laminate and over 900sf carpet & it does an amazing job on both!

Very impressed. Be careful of electrical wires but otherwise...great vac!

My wife has a drone of her own. Its smart and works great, gets under furniture and beds with no problems. Be sure things are picked up, it found a tie I lost under the bed and it got caught, the vacuum shut itself off. Does our entire first floor in about 2.3 hours, recharges itself when needed.l

I have a golden retriever & cat that shed like crazy. Was a little apprehensive that this small machine could handle it. If you’re on the fence get out there and buy it you will be amazed. I’m so proud to walk into my house and my floors are always clean and pet hair free!

I seriously cannot believe that this vacuum is this good. I think my only gripe is the Android app.

I've had several roombas and this one is the best by far. I love the new navigation system, it's much better than the old random path. It vacuums just as well as our Kirby vacuum and without any work on my part. It can be set to a schedule and controlled from an app on a phone. I love this vacuum!

I put it together by pulling tabs as instructed and pushed the run button and it was off to work while i sat at my desk booking clients. I scheduled it to vacuum twice a week and its so easy i can't believe it! Wish i would have purchased this iRobot allot sooner. Im so happy with it!!

The best vacuum the have, just press clean and forget about it. Leaves the floor completely clean and free from dirt and hairs. I have a Grate Dane and she stay inside the house without any problem. If you want to have a clean house without any effort, this is your best option.

This robot will clean your floor with-out you having to do anything but configure it. The WIFI capabilities let you control and program the robot using a smart phone app.

The IRobot 980 is a gem. Does great work and doesn't miss anything. Very please with the product and more importantly, the support from the factory. Needed some help, and they were quick, very supportive and made things happen. Wish all companies had a support structure like IRobot.

Can be controlled a lot of ways...phone/Alexa. Navigates well...good suction.

I was very skeptical due to the amount of fur our dogs shed, but it has done an excellent job thus far. It occasionally gets stuck behind the sofa, but it's not an inconvenience. For some reason, it likes to die right in front of its base station. But all in all; highly recommend it

We have tile floors and with two dogs and a cat which meant in the past a lot of sweeping. did my research and decided to go with the higher end Roomba and so very glad that i did. It does and excellent job and saves me a lot of time. no issues and would highly recommend

I have enjoyed using the Roomba 980 thus far, but it is far from perfect. Lily gets stuck quiet often and does not map the house as well as the commercial says it does. But it is a good product, but not sure it is worth the $899.00 price tag with the issues it has at this time. My advice is to buy at your own risk. Keep your expectations low and you will not be disappointed too much.

I initially purchased a less expensive Roomba and was not impressed with the random zigzag movement. I returned and got this one and Wow! what a difference. The suction power is far better and it vacuums in perfectly straight lines for us every time. We love it!

I can't believe the amount of stuff this little vacuum picks up. It may be a little pricey but the vacuum power ramping up to five times the suction on carpet is amazing. Do yourself a favor when the vacuum gets stuck somewhere and it will happen make sure you take care of that issue every time and eventually your house will be prepared a Flawless vacuum.

Great purchase love the app feature. Definitely helps with pet fur
