I truly enjoy seeing my irobot Roomba cleaning my entire place. The functionality of the App makes it easy for me to schedule my daily cleaning sessions at a convenient time, and the fact that it goes back to its base to recharge if needed definitely makes it a must have tool at home.

Just watching it work is cool. Cleans our entire 1st floor in about an 1 1/2 hours with one recharge. Goes under most beds/furniture. Finds missing socks and ties, but shuts off automatically when it does. Find the vacuum and you find your clothes. Definitely recommend this one.

Easy setup. Comes with app for my phone that tells exactly what is going on with the unit. Adjusts as it travels to different floor surfaces. Revs up with more power on the carpet and less on hardwood floor. Quiet operation allows us to program it to run at night while we sleep.

Our Roomba 980 has worked very well and is much quieter than expected. Doesnt like floor mats and stray socks but if you have loose clothing or throw rugs/mats picked up it really does a great job. We have a cat and small dog and it picks up hair well.

The 980 does all that it's supposed to do. I am very impressed that it remembers to go around all of the stuff we have in our home. Our dogs should be bald with all of the hair they loose every day. We are very happy with the amount of hair the Roomba 980 vacuum picks up every day.

The Rumba 980 is truly amazing. My only regret is that we did not purchase one years ago. I highly recommend this product to anyone, especially the homemakers that work outside the home. It is truly an awesome product. I have recommended this product to all of my friends.

We love our Roomba 980! I can not believe how much dirt it gets out of our carpeting. We have 2 cats, 2 dogs, and a chinchilla - our carpets look great again with this jewel roaming about everyday sucking up everything (dirt, hair, litter) in its path. Its bin is always full!

The best gift, with a dog and 3 cats the I robot is run every day. It does a super job.

My review for the roomba is mixed. It does do a good job on my vinyl floors, but it is not very good on my rugs. Definitely does not replace the need for a vacuum. I have two dogs and three kids and if I run it daily, it gets up the chunks. I usually run it on full power so that it will at least go over my rugs, and it is rather loud on that setting.

I have had a iRobot Roomba for 10 years now. I would not want to live without it now.

it works well. suction is good. and easy to work with. easy to charge.

Let me start off by sayin that this is the second roomba that I have purchased. I chose to buy a second one because the first one was so effective. This product is awesome. I Love the new brush design. The carpet boost is great but can be loud. The. One flaw that gets me is that the battery life is not the greatest. However, the vacuum remembers where it left off and resumes vacuuming after its charged up again, which is a nice feature. The iPhone app could use some work though. It takes awhile to find the vacuum when you launch the app. The app also keeps tabs on the filter and brush life span. One nice feature is that the app has the ability to do a deep cleaning on your carpet, via the two pass option. Great if you have pets!

I HAVE ANOTHER ROBOTIC VACUUM BUT IT HAD TO BE CHARGED TOO OFTEN FOR MY LARGE HOME. THIS 980 ROOMBA IS GREAT. AFTER USING THE OLDER UNIT IN ONE ROOM, I THEN USED THIS NEW ROOMBA & IT PICKED UP MORE DIRT. DEFINITELY DOES A GOOD JOB. WOULD BUY IT AGAIN.

We weren't to sure about the IRobot when we first got it. But it does a great job and we depend on it to keep our house clean. We have 2 cats and 2 dogs and it cleans up after them great!! We love this machine and don't know how we could do without it!!

Love that it’s out picking up everything for hours on end downfall is the wheel broke one week after owning that will find out and I’ll update you as time goes on but for now I would buy this product again and again needs to be cleaned out every couple hours

Does an excellent job. It gets better at navigating the rooms the more you use it. I didn’t take it out of the box for a few weeks because I couldn’t justify the cost in my mind. So glad I did.

I watched the iRobot run on several occasions and there didn't seem to be a pattern to her process. I called customer service and they said it is running fine. I'm not doing the work so I guess it has its own logic. It goes room to room, then back to a previous room, then back where it left from. Just a bit odd to me. Mostly carpet in the house and she runs 90 minutes, charges 90 minutes, then runs about 60 minute and charges another 90. Does come out again to finish the job. The total to clean the house is about 6 hours. She cleans about 1100 sq ft of floor surface. As long as you don't need to leave for the day, and have better things to do than vacuum, great investment!

Once we decided to finally get a Roomba, we chose the 980 over the 960 due to extra power, longer run time and quicker charge. It does a very good job at picking up on wood, tile and carpet. But, if you do have a lot of carpet and keep the Carpet Boost on, the running time between charges isn't quite so long. You might want to turn it off and set it to One Cleaning Pass once you get it on a regular schedule so it will last longer between charges and finish the cleaning job faster. Charging time during a cleaning job is 90 minutes, then it goes back to work. We do like that it can get all the dust and cat fur under the couches and beds. Just be sure to empty the bin or at least check it during each charge if you can as it can get very full. The only issue is that it sometimes has trouble getting up on some of our thicker rugs. It has to hit it at just the right angle. Other than that, we're glad we finally got one!

What in the world was I waiting on in getting my Roomba 980????? I absolutely love my robotic vacuum. I still have to get in the corners...but, over all it does a GREAT job on my wood floors and a few rug remnants that I have.
