The Roomba is currently vacuuming my place as I type this. I have a long haired cat named Jay Catsby that gets litter and hair everywhere. I sometimes have cat hair tumbleweeds trundling along the floor like a deserted town. This Roomba changed all that and I actually have time to pet my cat rather than get frustrated with the mess he leaves. I work a lot and have a busy schedule on weekends, and the 980 keeps the place looking spotless. I was honestly tempted to buy the mopping robot after seeing this thing in action. It's like a Ronco Rotisserie..."Set it and Forget It." Being that this is the higher end model, it has all if the features. I can definitely tell when it turns up the sucking power in dirty areas, which is a neat feature. It also has pretty intelligent navigation, seems to get all of the corners pretty well despite being round. I honestly can't recommend this thing enough.

I like the remote control rebot like L G. Every body don’t have a cell phone or android phone to used as a remote. I bought this to try some thing new without brushes that LG has. It does clean well. I only had few minor set back with this new robot. But I said get it. Especially if you have android phone to operate this vacuum robot.

We use our Roomba 980 primarily on a tile floor with floor mats, where it keeps the floor clean in spite of six cats chasing their food and toys around the room. Sometimes the cats even start the Roomba for us during the night. Highly recommended.

Works awesome love that when I get home it looks like the maid has been there.

we love our roomba. We love that we can use our phones to set it to run. The rubber 'brushes' are so easy to clean. With a dog and two cats we have plenty of fur and it picks up everything. I would love a bigger bin, but cleaning it is easy enough.

With 4 Great Danes, we have plenty of hair and dirt. This Roomba has saved my sanity! I run it once a day, and the carpet is spotless! I was worried that it wouldn't be able to hold enough, but it definitely does - especially when you are using it regularly.

I was a little skeptical that the product would be as good as advertised. It works great!

This is my second version of roomba and this is a nice upgrade. Much quieter.

The Roomba 980 is super reliable. I've set it up to vacuum my entire 1200 sq ft condo and it leaves it very clean. I have a beagle that sheds dog hair EVERYWHERE and without I'd go nuts vacuuming every day. This is the only way to keep up with it!

I had a couple of different roombas prior to this one and i can’t definitely say that you do not need to spend money on anything other than this one right here. As oposed to the other models, the ability of understanding your floorplan hugely increases the efficiency of this robot. My previous roombas would take close to 2 hours to clean my 500 sqft living area and it would constantly get lost and unable to return. This one in the other hand never gets lost and finishes up in about 50 minutes consistently, i see my home cleaner and i can now with confidence trigger it via wifi and know that roomba will clean appropiately before my guests arrive.

Well worth every dollar I’ve spent! Works great ok carpet, tile and hardwoods! Surprisingly large trash bin. Also love that when battery is low it redocks, charges and picks up right where it left off... all while I’m not even home!

One of the best household cleaning appliances that I have ever owned!!! My home is ~6200sqft and this vacuum doesn't shy away or quit! It is very smart and meticulous and it leaves those much adored carpet lines. I am thinking about buying another.

Set it to go off once a day while I'm at work. No more dog hair. Best investment ever.

Does a good job of getting the floors clean, my wife loves it. My dogs hate it lol. My son and his wife came over and played with it all night, then went and purchased them one the next day.

Works better than expected and my wife loves it. We run it everyday and the debris trap somehow is full every time. We have it cleaning four rooms and the unit has never gotten lost. The resume feature is awesome and allows the unit to clean large areas.

The unit was well thought out before it was released. It cleans thoroughly, and is easy to understand the process. Even though it is heavy,. weight is necessary to accomplish the task of floor cleaning on rugs and floors. Great product!!

Does a good job. My house is 2700 sq ft so it’s bigger than the 2000 sq ft that the 980 can cover. Mostly hard wood floors.

The vacuum has a tendency to get itself stuck at times and quit the job. Sometimes when I want it to go home it doesn’t know how. But overall as far as being a vacuum it’s good. I don’t know that I’d recommend the most expensive one to folks but for a set it and forget it vacuum, go cheaper and save some money!!
