Love my first Roomba! I researched several robotic vacuums before making this purchase and so far I've been very pleased. I bought this primarily because I just put in dark, hardwood floors and I have a very short haired white dog who sheds a lot. Dark floors seem to show the white hair very well. The Roomba does an excellent job at keeping up with the messes. My only complaint is that the Roomba seems to knock its charging base around so if you're not home to fix it, then the Roomba can't find its way home to charge. Aside from that, I'm really happy with my new gadget!

This is the best purchase that my husband and myself have made! Its worth all the money even though is is a little high! But I would tell everyone who is looking for a vacuum that this little Robot will keep your floors cleaner than a regular vacuum. At the press of a button he/she will clean your whole house while you are doing things that need to be done. Saves you time so you can complete other projects around your house.

The new models don’t compare to this work horse! Get this before they are gone!

This is my second iRobot. The first one finally died after 4 to 5 years of service. Yes, it has its challenges, like trying to go under furniture too low for its access and getting stuck. However, when you know it's in a room where this may occur, you just monitor its progress more carefully, than when it's in a room where it will have no problems. Over all, this was and is a very good purchase.

OK...Yes it's a LOT of money HOWEVER...It does a GREAT job and in my opinion, it is worth spending that much. Too bad they've priced it so high, but that's the way it is. If you have animals (spell that F-U-R), then get either of the 900 series models, and you'll be surprised what a good job they do! The 980, runs twice as long, and charges in 1/2 the time, which is why I spent the extra $$$, and I'm happy with it.

This thing works as well as our upright vac. Just set it down and let it do the rest.

Best one out there would like to see it be able to climb onto a semi shag carpet. Cleans good once on but can't make the small climb on it.

The Roomba is used in a second home and we are able to start it up and clean the house before we arrive there. Can do this while we are in transit by using the phone app. Works great. Only wish it had more space / room to store sweepings.

Works very well good results. It cleans tiles and carpet.

Roomba 980 replaces a full size vacuum and will keep your floors clean.. unless it fills up, then it will leave clumps of fur on the carpet. I have 2 Huskies and it does a great job of cleaning the floors, however when they shed heavy it leaves clumps of fur behind. Now I'd recommend the I7+ with dock to avoid this issue, as it will empty itself and resume cleaning. If you have heavy shedding pets and run your Roomba everday, I recommend a warranty. Mine have issues before 2 years, but I run it everyday.

After having a Dyson, Kirby, and Shark, this sweeper is super!
