love my roomba, third one. love to set it and forget it. this one even tells you when it needs to be emptied, and when you looseit, you can find it with your phone! lazy? just reach for your phone and hit start, what better way to vacuum than having a maid do it for you?! don't miss out, get one for yourself!! worth every dollar.

It boldly goes where no one has gone before... :). Under my bed. We had to move my bed to clean up every month. Now it get cleaned daily.

I have another Roomba (700 series) which serves its purpose (cleans small area downstairs). This Model is light years ahead from a UI perspective and from a functionality perspective. Cleans (carpet especially) like a dream. I love the app and information easily accessed through the app. Set up was a breeze.

Highly recommended. It is a little pricey but it is worth every single penny. It does the job better than me. I run it for less than two hours on wood floors and ceramic tile (2,200 sq.ft) every day. It's a little bit loud, like a regular vacuum but it does't bother me. I need to pick up the dog toys, area rugs and put the chairs on top of the dinning table for a perfect cleaning. It's doesn't clean the corners the way I would like though but I can survive. I got the 4 years Best Buy warranty which give me pace of mind in my investment.

We have only had this for about one week and we have used it several times and I must say it does a outstanding job. We have two long hair golden retrievers and we are just amazed how much hair it picks up. We highly recommend it for your every day use! We are planning to buy a second one for upstairs needs

The 980 is far far better than any of it's predecessors in every way. Navigation is incredible. Never gets stuck. Cleans extremely well and covers the entire floor. I previously owned a 770 Roomba and hair, cords, strings, everything you could think of got caught up in the brushess. The 980 has the tangle free brushes that literally get 1% or less tangled in them than the 770. The 770 had I had constant issues with cleaning the brushes nonstop because they would look like my wifes hair brush after a weeks use. Overall I love this thing. I think the scooba may be next on my list.

We use the Roomba several times a week. It does an awesome job! I feel like I can actually keep up with my housework and my house is really clean!!!!.

This product is an excellent time saver. Great for maintenance cleaning but is not intended to clean up heavy duty, chronic messes or filthy houses. If you have a cat or dog, it does great with pet hair, dander and dust bunnies. Cleans thoroughly under beds and furniture! Cleans as expected, but perhaps most importantly, DOES NOT COMPLAIN AND WHINE ALL DAY when finished.

IT IS EASY TO USE PLUS CLEANS GOOD AND IS HANDSFREE .

Very smart and does a fine job. The brushless rollers avoid hair wrapping around them but be aware that hair still finds a way to wrap itself around rotating parts. But better than past models. Loud but not as loud as conventional models. Long battery life and find its own charger when either finished or low on power.

It's nice having a helping hand when you have 3 kids, 3 dogs and a cat....the floors never seem to stay clean. Having this little guy help out has helped me keep my floors clean and I am loving that!!! Even after vacuuming it can still find more dirt and hair, and we have a good vacuum too! I took away a star because the price is really ridiculous and Roomba holds restrictions to allow big box coupons to be used.

This does a great job at cleaning. You do have to clear the floor of everything, like dog toys and so on. Couple of times it will get stuck on edge of the area rugs upstairs, but downstairs is all carpet and it does a perfect job down there. I'm very happy with this Roomba!!

I have six dogs with hardwood floors. They shed quite a bit. I was tired of coming home after a long day of work and seeing hair on the floor. Roomba now has my floor nice and clean. My only complaint is the collection bin is not large enough when you have six shedding dogs.

It's the best roomba ever made. We had bought previous version 880 last July .. That did the work but it used to stop if bin is full or sometimes errors out near stairs. But this newer version is great so easy to setup and you can control/manage it from your cell phone. It cleans up even if bin is full and resumes where it's left.

My wife and I debated the extra money to go from 600 series to this 980 model. Definitely one of the better risks we've taken over the years! The 980 cleans exceptionally well, and the self-docking, charging, and then continuing the job til it's done feature is amazing. I get messages from it on my Android phone (IoS is available also) and can adjust its automated schedule at anytime. The best thing is setting it to go at 10am every day for the entire downstairs (mostly hardwood with 2 rugs) and the floors are just constantly in a great state of 'swept'. I'm looking forward to when the budget allows us to get another one!

We have 3 cats, 2 dogs, and 2 kids - with friends. I don't have time to sweep every day like my Roomba 980 does - and my floors need. I set it up - it was easy, easy, easy; it took only 10 minutes to set it up and program the schedule. Having never used one, I set it up so I could watch it the first 2 times. I then set the schedule for the week and only have to empty the dirt bin - I do that every day even though it isn't completely full. It is a bit like having a maid, but it only does my floors :(. By the way, I have laminate and tile floors and we live in the country, so there is a lot of dust. I have used it for a month and I love it!

My wife had wanted a Roomba for quite some time. This particular model was more expensive, however, the reason I purchased this particular model was because the longer battery/cleaning time, ability to sweep on very thick carpet, and the ability to control from phone. We have wood floors in part of the house, and then very thick carpet in others. This Roomba didn't pause at all when going from one surface to the other. Cleans very well, and so easy to use. I have come to love this device more than my wife does ! I brag to everyone now on how often I clean the house...perfect husband, right?

The best money I’ve spent recently! Purchased a new larger home with multiple dogs/cats and this product has saved me time and energy on keeping up with the hardwood flooring. I was Leary about letting it run in the bedrooms due to high carpet but it’s been amazing.

This vacuum is a great addition to any home. There are some quirks that you need to learn and understand in order to appreciate this machine. First, this machine makes you pick up you floor, which in turn becomes a good habit. It does not vacuum like a person would, but it will clean the surface area (including edges) of any room. It will clean underneath furniture and does a great job! It appears to learn as you keep using it, thus making the cleaning cycle quicker. It is very mesmerizing to watch when it vacuums as it has it's own algorithm to clean a room. Overall, it is a great investment - so long as you're going to use it!

Family of 5 + dog = dirty floors 24/7....before Rosey(remember the Jetson?!)came into our lives! She CLEANS THOROUGHLY on our hardwood, low pile door mats, thick pile carpet(automatically ramps up suction). We have a Shark Rotator vacuum and iroomba cleans these surfaces as well if not better. And the Shark cleans better than a Dyson. We bought this with the intention of picking up loose dust and crumbs between thorough cleanings with the Shark but we don’t even need to vacuum with it anymore. Spend the money and buy the best the first time. You won’t regret it.
