I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife. We tried it for the first time the other day and were amazed at how well it work and how thorough it did it’s thing. Time to let it loose on the rest of the house!

The Roomba 980 does a great job of cleaning. I like the methodic grid pattern and the final edge clean along baseboards, chair legs, etc. The fact that it remembers where it left off when it needs to recharge the battery in the middle of the job makes sure the whole house gets done. It is quieter than a regular vacuum, although the power boost when it switches to carpet is noticeable.

Does a much better job than I expected! Roomba has to recharge itself to clean my entire home (~2400' ranch home) but as soon as it's recharged, he finishes up the job. Very pleased. Does a great job keeping pet hair under control.

I was skeptical at first, but this product was worth every penny! It truly does what it claims it will do. No more getting on my hands and knees to sweep under beds and couches.

It's wonderful to come home to a clean floor with no dog hair on the floor. We run it daily and if it misses something the first run it will generally get it on the next pass. The only area it misses is if it can't get under the kitchen table chairs or an area that it won't fit through or into. You have to ensure everything is picked up off the floors or it will try sucking it up...if it gets stuck or jammed it will shut down until you remove the issue that caused the error. It's awesome...I love it!

I read a lot of reviews before settling on the 980. It's very pricy but completely worth it. I have allergies and 4 cats. It picks up all their kicked out liter and tons of hair and even more dust. I run Roomba everyday and I can't believe how much it picks up each time. My allergies are noticeably better. I have hardwood floors, mostly. Some rugs but they're not high or too shaggy. It can go over bathroom mats and thin rugs nicely. I wish it came with a couple more sensors. 2 is good but 4 is good be amazing. It never misses a spot even though it seems like it will. I have 1300 sq ft ranch house and it can clean it without having to recharge. If it gets stuck and sits for awhile then it may need to charge before finishing. The app is good, not great. It will alert when the bin is full, if its stuck or needs attention. Overall, I wish it was a bit less expensive. Other then that the power is really good, noise level is good, and hopefully it is durable for a long while.

I wish I got this early! Wonderful iRobot 980 is more than I expected. I have it programmed to run during the night, can set from my phone etc, I also receive reports. It Vaccums and if needs recharging goes back then resumes. Gets close to walls, really picks up pet hair and everything else, can custom set it. I have white carpets. I love it!!! Hubby did good lol

So I haven’t had this thing for too long, but I’ve used it twice and it does the job. I have hardwood floors and a a couple of rugs and it does a good job. I also have a golden retriever which means their is hair everywhere. It does the floors very week, it does one of my rugs okay, so I would still have an upright to get the carpets really good. It is nice to come home to a clean house. You can control this thing from an app and it’s super easy to set up

The best of the best from IRobot. Power increases when roomba goes to your carpet. Long battery life before recharging, covers big area. I love the app and works with Alexa.. highly recommended.

If you keep yourself from thinking this vacuum should read your mind, then you will learn to appreciate it! You must be patient that it's battery wears out before you want it to; but rest assured it will try to finish its job, eventually. If you are one to change your furniture arrangement a lot, then get used to picking it up and moving the Roomba to a different area. It still will clean your carpet – and that is the goal. Be a friend to your Roomba and pick it up and turn it over after every couple of uses to make sure nothing has gotten caught anywhere. You don't want to wait until it tells you itself. My best piece of advice is to read the manual from cover to cover when you first get it. Then a month later read it again, because then you will realize things you had forgotten. The Roomba is a great tool!

It’s like having another person helping me clean my house. Honestly, it has changed my life. We have a dog who sheds terribly, and now all my floors can be kept clean. Everyone should have one.

I LOVE this product! Living with 3 dogs inside my house can get a little hairy. I was originally worried that it wouldn't be able to reach corners and borders along the walls. I was wrong! My house feels clean again! I love that I can program it to start whenever I want. I also LOVE that I can start it from my phone or even tell google to start it! I have it set for a routine schedule. One less stress in my life! Best investment I've made!

Takes the 980 a little over 7 hours to complete the job. Amazing how it senses hardwood floors vs carpet and reduces power, and detects higher traffic areas. Gets stuck if you don’t pick up the normal things that would get stuck in a vacuum. The 980 makes good looking lines in the carpet. Goes under beds no problem. We like how we can take it to specific rooms and set it down and let it run as well. Bin is easy to empty. App is great too.

This does a great job keeping the dog hair controlled. I had to run it about 3 times the first day so the bin did not get filled up too fast but now it is just perfect! Highly recommend.

This machine cleans very well and i love the fact that if it needs a charge it goes back to its home, charges itself and cleans where it left off. Cleans hard floors and carpets well..

This iRobot vacuum cleaner just keeps on going. It cleans up behind the cats little a trooper. I will have to say it was pretty amazing how this Roomba cleans and how well it works.

I have been using a Dyson Ball vacuum to clean my home, however, I broke down and bought a Roomba. Wow. It does a GREAT job cleaning and gets everywhere my Dyson doesn't go. I would have bought one years ago if I knew how well it cleans. It's very nice coming home to those freshly-vacuumed marks on my carpets. I only wish it had a larger dust bin, but if it did, it probably wouldn't be able to fit in all the places it goes now.

Great product. Cleans very well. Takes a while but worth it. Love the convenience and ability to program from anywhere. Superb robotic product!

The product doesn't exactly clean everywhere just goes randomly from room to room. Does not map out the room as advertised. In the bathroom it does not vacuum up powder at all. Also it's very noisy.

My Roomba does a fantastic job of keeping the floor clean of dog hair and debris! I have two dogs and the amount of fur it picks up is amazing. I highly recommend this for people with pets as long as you are willing to empty the bin on a daily basis.
