Does not map the house well. Runs in to the walls alot. Does not clean well.

Got this vaccum to help throughout the week for our pets. Picks up most things, and judt leaves some things. Knocked it a star because the vaccum empties itself into its dock and it fills up a bag. Which from what i can tell is that it's single use and once it's full you have throw away the bag and buy refills.

The floor scanning app was pretty impressive. However, it does take a while for the robot to get a complete cleaning cycle after failing to finish the job. The mob function doesn't really work well as you still need to change the mob on your own so it might be better just to get the self-cleaning version.

I didnt have any expectations when buying this product, as i have never owned a robot vacuum. But this has exceeded the things i wanted help with. This little guy has picked up a ton of missed crumbs i never even saw around my home. He sucks up pet hair and gets under my couches really nice. The added bonus of keeping my kids busy and on their toes to pick up their toys every night, was a magical surprise! I think i may rename him to be King of the House.

We have been using Roombas since they started making them. Every few years we update to a new model. We have dogs and I run it every day to keep the hair down. This is our latest one and it is great.

Works ok, kinda silly with being able to figure out where to go or getting stuck in certain areas. Gets stuck pretty often even when mapped out or can miss where to turn. Big open areas with nothing on the floor it'll clean ok.

Pros: Cleans well. Self cleaning feature is a + Automating schedule will help to simplify our job even more Cons: Most of these features are present in other similar products as well in better price Have to replace parts very soon Summary: iRobot i5+ is a descent product, do well in terms of cleaning and self clean feature (having base) with all it's automation features help to simplifies our job. However, when I am considering the price and compare with other available products feels costlier to me.

The mop option is completely useless and would recommend just buying the vacuum. Keep moping with the good ole mop and bucket. Mapping function is great!! You are able to pick and choose what rooms you would like cleaned. Product would be 5 stars if it werent for the useless mop attachment.

Works well. Gets job done. Will buy an upright w gadgets next time

Does a great job but a little noisy so using the schedule option can set to clean while at work or sleeping. Mapping takes a while but it’s worth it.

A great disappointment! We live somewhat close to the freeway which brings in a lot of dust. Clean something in the morning and before afternoon there is already a thin film of dust on whatever you cleaned. I was amazed at how much dust our old Robot 860 would collect. And only after a couple of days from the last cleaning. Ok, let's put the i5 to the test. First mapping. After several mapping runs, I could NOT get an accurate map of our house. Perhaps on one mapping run, it provided an accurate map. But after the 1st clean run, the map was lost as the i5 had drawn a new map, a highly inaccurate one. On one cleaning run, the i5 drew a nearly perfect map. But Robot support stated that there was no way that I could keep that map as the primary. And now, check the dust bin. What?! Hardly any dust or rubbish in the bin. And the bin filter is only about 1/3 the size of the filter on our robot 860, a much older model. Smaller filter, less suction power (i5 quieter than the 860) = poor cleaning. Not sure if the suction power is less, but the i5 is quieter than the 860. No doubt though it doesn't clean as well. I ran the i5, then did a clean run with the 860. The 860 would still pick up a good amount of dust after running the i5. As for the self-emptying it is very loud, thankfully briefly. It seems that iRobot has gone backwards. Bottom line, returned the i5.

Ive had my IRobot for about 2 years, and honestly, i love it. I have it clean the floors twice a day and i can walk barefoot in my house without stepping on something. Very nice.

A very quiet vacuum that does the job very well mopping is fair but over all i really enjoy the self empyt just great and it vacuum great

Great product. Just wish it wouldn’t get stuck so often.

I had to return it because it was too blind for me, constantly hitting walls and going over cables and stuff, but it did great vacuuming. I would probably go for higher a bit more expensive one when ready next.

I really like this roomba. I turn it on before I go to work and when I get back it does a great job keep the floor clean. I like how it empties itself as well.

We truly enjoy our 2nd roomba, thank you! Now for my problem. After I purchased it I called geek squad they informed me they could not send someone out even though I am a member of geek squad. Not happy with this. Then I brought it in by appointment and they guy said i have to set up a home appointment.

This is my first Roomba. I have found it to be absolutely amazing. I can just schedule it, and my house stays clean. It is small enough to fit under the couch and dressers so it actually gets those "hard to get" places, at least in my place. Being that this model is considered semi-entry level; I wonder how much more the other models can do. I previous had a Dyson and loved it. But after some years it finally crapped out on me. When I was going to buy a new one, I saw the Roomba around the same price and thought let's give it a try. Love it!

This is has been one of the best time-saving products I have purchased. Cleaning the entire home while I am at work. Upon arrival, you can see the rugs are clean.
