Not very go product for floors with grooves. The grooves increase the noise and may be unbearable.

My husband and I bought this iRobot vacuum/mop combo for our brand new house. We have been loving it! Very convenient with the app it provides you with to check the status of cleaning jobs when away from home and set up a cleaning schedule to keep you task free. Highly recommend this product!

Not Worth the price, I purchased this because I have a German Shepherd and she sheds A LOT, well this would vacuum some of the hair and then DUMP it in some part of the house instead of going to its reservoir to empty itself out. The battery does not last so it would go back to its station to charge and when charge it would start to vacuum from the very beginning! Had it for a week, Only once it vacuum the whole house and when it started to dump the hair in the floor We decided to return it. It does not avoid Items so if your child drops chocolate on the floor this would smear it all over your floor. Please save your money and just buy the cheapest one instead. if you really want one.

Save your money go with a different brand had ecovac deebot and i return this irobot . Unable to set up cleaning sequence, it leaves the floor so wet and cant change the wetness setting . Wicked noisey . Keeps dying and doesnt finished the job and keeps returning to charger . It only has one brush in the front and it constantly misses things . Sounds like it do by donuts since it keeps getting stuck on nothing . Does not auto empty .

was not what i was expecting. I give it an average rating as i think the tech can still do better. Also it requires a different setup to do the mop which you need to setup every time.

Absolutely worst, you will actually spend more time clean the parts than if you would use a broom. Needs too much setup and clean up. Requires lot of replacement parts every few weeks. Hair gets stuck at all places every few days. Doesn’t mop at all few months due to mapping problems. Just a waste of money. Can’t clean without light unlike other robots. I regret buying this.

The Roomba Combo J5+ has made significant strides over previous models. We’ve been Roomba owners for almost 20 years now. Our last one survived 10 years, so sticking with Roomba was an easy decision. When needed I’ve been able to get replacement parts easily, so spending a bit more with a company that’s there with you in the long term, makes perfect sense. With pets, the amount of time cleaning up drove us to initially purchase a Roomba. Now we really appreciate the convenience. Once unboxed, I placed it on the home base and loaded the app on my phone. I missed the lack of printed instructions, and found the manual on the website. Once fully charged, it embarked on its mapping run. It took about 2 hours for 1,600 sq ft. floorplan. During that run, it managed to avoid wires, throw rugs, shoes etc., that would trip up the older models. Ahh, so much smarter! Opening up the map to edit, I was amazed that it properly identified most rooms like the kitchen, dining room, bedroom, office and hallways. After a few updates to the map, I added it to Google Home. We now asked Google to tell Rosey, (yep you name it for automation systems), to vacuum the kitchen. We watched as it grabbed all the dust bunnies, etc., went over the floor twice in an overlapping pattern, and then docked itself. Then comes the roar of the self-emptying system. A notification in the app telling us that it emptied the bin. After that we sent it along to the rest of the house, mostly carpeted. Again, it really shined. With the ability to set a schedule, select rooms, automate the process to your coming and goings, it’s extremely versatile and unintrusive. The mopping feature is a great time saver. It left our tiled kitchen floor nice and clean. Smart enough to avoid the throw rugs, we didn’t have to chase it around prepping for the cleaning. It supports a long list of cleaning solutions, so you’re not tied to a specific brand. It’s a great time saver and with the latest smarts, it will be a great addition to your home. We love it!

Bought this because I have a dog that sheds four times a year. The last one I had lasted about 5 years. I think that is the timeframe for these things.

The iRobot Roomba Combo j5+ Self-Emptying 2-in-1 Robot is actually the j7 with the added feature to mop. Set up is a very easy using the app, within minutes I was ready to map my home. The floor this operates on is my main floor about 1200 square feet and it is an open floor plan with 3 separate rooms. The mapping was very successful and once complete you can make several modifications such as naming rooms ,excluding areas etc.. The unit successfully navigated furniture and other obstacles and resulted in a good map. Instead of running into things with force it appears to almost know what it is. For example I put an extension chord down on the floor which it avoided. The legs of chairs it also avoided and without crashing into them first. My dining room table always confuses other systems but so far it hasn't gotten stuck. As a vacuum, as long as you run it regularly which is very easy because you can set up schedules, this should under normal circumstances have no problem replacing your old fashioned vacuum. After each cleaning session it self empties. It is not quiet so I recommend you have it run when you are gone. So the only thing you really need do is empty the bag in the collection unit. I don't currently have a dog but the POOP avoidance system is a welcome addition, because yep I have been there. As a mop this will never replace a good old scrubbing but used consistently it makes any regular cleaning much easier and maybe non-existent depending upon the situation. This easily avoids rugs and carpet when the mop reservoir is used. I have experimented with water and cleaning solutions, so far I like water and vinegar the best. I have this programmed to run 4 times a week and so far no regular cleans are needed and I have been intentionally wearing my shoes in the kitchen. This as another great produce from iRobot and I would recommend.

I received this iRobot Roomba J5+ vacuum and wet mop to evaluate and review. I had a very early Roomba version years ago and found it helpful but somewhat problematic as it often got stuck in places and was hard to find to correct. The new Roomba J5+ combination vacuum/wet mop has overcome all of those issues and is now a great addition to our house. Before using, the Roomba must be charged and once charged begins to map your house before initiating the first vacuuming. It took about 3 hours for the Roomba to map our 3700 sf house and needed to recharge itself before beginning the first vacuum event. It took around 3 hours to fully recharge. The first vaccuming was incomplete as it got very full with dust and debris it found under beds that hadn't been vacuumed in several years. I manually had to pull a lot of dustballs out of it as they exceeded the onboard capacity of the vacuum debris storage. Normally, the vacuum would go home and dock itself when a job was completed and the base unit suctions out the debris in the unit so it is empty before going out for another vacuuming. The second vacuuming of the house went much quicker and smoother with few issues. The Ropmba J5+ was always able to get unstuck when it boxed itself inmto a corner, under a chair or tangled with a cord or rug. I am very impressed with how it works, how detailed the mapping is and all of the options available to control and schedule the vacuum and mopping jobs. By the way, the Roomba J5+ is able to vacuum and wet mop at the same time! Awesome. iRobot has an application you can download for your smarphone that shows the map made by the J5+ Roomba Combo and allows you to name the rooms, hallways, etc. so you can later send the unit to a specific room to just clean it. What an amazing machine and a wonderful addition to our home!

My daughter loves the Roomba for her townhouse. She had hardwood floors and was tired of sweeping. She says it works great and is a time saver—an excellent holiday sale price.

This room has been super helpful in cleaning the house up day and night with 2 puppies. I highly recommend getting this to make your life easier.

One of the best purchases I have made! We are incredibly happy with our Roomba! Not only are our floors cleaner than ever we love watching him work!
