This is our first robotic vacuum and we are excited. It cleans up really well so far. Each room has a transition strip and it goes over them with ease. My teenager set up the app & mapped out the house. I love how you can tell it to clean up in one specific area or room very easily. We haven't used the mop function yet, but will soon.

Love our iRobot. Actually this is our 4th one in the last 10 years. We have two dogs that shed and I've been told I use it too much. That's ridiculous! It's made to be used. It does a great job keeping the dog hair picked up. This is the first time I've purchased the self-emptying roomba.

I had high hopes for the iRobot i5+, given that Roomba was a pioneer in robot vacuums. But unfortunately I could not get the robot to properly map out our floor. The setup started off on the wrong foot when the instructions said to download the app and scan the product code. But after scanning the product code, the app would warn me about some features that don’t apply to all products. If I’ve already scanned the product code, why can’t it tell me about my product specifically? I followed the rest of the process and got the vacuum set up on my network. It was straightforward but slower than I expected, sometimes left wondering if it was erroring out. I then put the vacuum at the T-intersection of two hallways that had rooms on either side of the longer hallway, making sure there were no obstructions per the instructions. But the vacuum would only map out the short hallway and nothing else. After a couple of frustrating attempts, I rotated the base by 90 degrees, even though the instructions say to not put it against a wall. Again the vacuum would only travel in the direction directly away from the base. It did map the room on that side of the hallway, but returned to the base, ignoring the short hallway or the room past the base. See accompanying diagrams. I’ve used other robot vacuums that have not had any issues in this area of the house. I don’t recommend this.

Excellent option if you can get it on sale - you should not pay over $250 for this model. Works as indicated, self cleaning, app is surprisingly informative and good. Setup is easy, error codes are easily diagnosed if you have a problem.

Previous iRobot finally died after a few years of daily use. (We have dogs, and it definitely had a hard life.) This one has slightly better features, along with longer battery life and better suction. Does a great job!

Very efficient and quiet. Easy to set up and use. Does a better job than a regular vacuum. Good coverage and even gets along the edges. Deals with pet hair. Wish I hadn’t waited so long to buy one of these.

The Roomba i5 is thorough and does a great job. Mapping The Roomba i5 can create a map of your home and you can send it to specific areas and the app is user friendly and the setup is easy

This thing is awesome. Takes about an hour or so to clean the 2nd floor. It hasn’t taken a tumble down the stairs and only got stuck once when it went into the bathroom. Other than that no issues.

This robot vacuum cleaner has become my favorite item. I am so happy to live with this smart and convenient friend. It saves me a lot of time and the app works well to control it from outside, so it is so easy and convenient to use. I would like to recommend it to many people.

I bought this to replace a 2 year old roomba that had an issue almost every time it vacuumed. This unit has a docking issue at least once a week. Other than that it does a good job keeping the floor vacuumed. Plus this unit empties itself which seems to work perfect. Other than the random docking issue I think they are a decent investment.

Cleans well, easy and convenient daily use for cleaning.

Irobot Roomba I5 - Does a great job, easily goes over rugs and cords without getting stuck

Works great learns and cleans area and goes back to recharge if its not finished and restarts.

Love this guy! Just set it up yesterday and its already mapped my house and my floors are so clean! I look forward to using this guy for a long time!

Love this new machine, great for picking up dog hair on our LVP floors and easily navigates over rugs and around furniture. The self cleaning feature is awesome and will empty itself and then continue job. It is also very gentle on baseboards and furniture. I also love the app and can make vacuuming at the perfect times an option

The i5 was very easy to set up, the cleanliness it leaves behind is like no other vaccine I have ever had!

This vacuum is awesome. The problem we had with it was we could not get it to connect to our wifi. We had to contact people to get it to work. The machine is very loud when dumping the dirt/trash. I would absolutely recommend this product after we finally got it all set up.

Love this product, set up a breeze and using it with my phone is very convenient

Great iRobot for the money. We really like the mapping and self-emptying features.
