My first robot sweeper, but I did a good bit of research before I ended up pushing buy! I only got this over the 981 because of smart mapping. I definitely like the feature, but it lacks some suction for cat hair. It rolls it up into some nice little clumps for me though, so I just go around and pick it up. Other than that, it gets everything else on the floor!

Would highly recommend, very easy to use, cleans better than a stand up vacuum

Best purchase I have recently made. Works great on hardwood and tile floors. It’s amazing how much dust and hair it picks up. Love the mapping feature on the App- you can pick which rooms to clean or choose a whole house cleaning. Had a few instances where it pick up a phone cord or random shoe string and got jammed. Otherwise, completely satisfied with this product.

Pretty amazing. One of my favorite purchases. While it does not replace a full vacuum, it does help maintain. I keep mine scheduled for once a day and am amazed by the amount of hair and dust it picks up.

The iRobot Roomba i6 is useful and works well. It’s easy to set up and there’s no assembly. You do need to download the control app. Then, the app walks you through the set up to connect and run the Roomba. You do need the app to be able to control the Roomba. The app requires you to create an account, create a password, and requires you to provide your device location data (I’m not sure why it needs to have your location data, it’s not like the robot uses it to navigate, but there doesn’t seem to be any way to not provide the location data). When the Roomba cleans it starts making a map of your home, which is very cool. Once it has mapped your home, you can use the app to name the separate rooms. You are then able to send the Roomba to clean specific rooms, if you don’t want or need to clean the entire home. The map also allows you to set up No Go zones which is super convenient. For example, I have this chair in the living room that the Roomba always got stuck under, so I just put a red No Go zone around the chair on the map and that solved the problem. It’s also great to be able to set it to avoid the Christmas tree. I put a No Go zone for the corner where the Christmas tree is and just like that, problem solved, and the Roomba stops short of going under the tree. The app will send a notification if the Roomba gets stuck anywhere or if it encounters other problems, like a full dust bin. The app and Roomba also detect what they call Dirt Events where it automatically detects dirtier areas and increases the number of passes the Roomba makes in those areas. The app provides history logs of cleaning with any problems encountered and also allows you to set a cleaning schedule to have the Roomba run at a set day and time. You can even use the app to start the Roomba cleaning remotely when your not at home. The app has an extensive help menu with instructions and pictures for problem solving or routine maintenance of your Roomba, such as emptying dust bin or replacing brushes and filters. The Roomba itself if fairly quiet, not nearly as loud as a conventional vacuum. But, it is definitely difficult to hear the TV, for example, if it’s cleaning in the same room, if the Roomba is running in the next room that’s not a problem. Overall, the iRobot Roomba i6 has been easy to use and does a good job of picking up dirt and dust around my home.

I originally purchased the I2 and found it not to be a good product because it kept getting stuck in certain spots. I returned the I2 and purchased the I6 and LOVE it. It’s intelligent and learns the space and can be mapped out to go to specific areas or rooms and not clean the entire home if needed. Great product.

I bought this product because my sister has one and said they were awesome and we both have dogs! Ours worked for about a month and then it wouldn't pick up more than a tablespoon of dog hair or anything for that matter. It kept saying "empty the bin" and again, there was little in there. We followed all the instructions to clean out the bin and it worked again for few days and now I get messages that I have to replace parts....either I purchases a lemon and/or it's just not great product.

The Roomba works to keep up on the vacuuming and is a great assistant, especially if you've been ordered not to vacuum by the doctor,,, The learning curve takes a bit of time, and you can see the path of the device if your carpet is on the older side, but that's true of any vacuum. Very satisfied!

Lifesaver!! I am an extremely busy mother who works long hours daily. Coming home and knowing that the floors are one less thing on my to-do list is a great feeling. Being able to set the rooms to clean right from my phone is one of my favorite features. Wish I had gotten this years ago!

Does the job well specially for hardwood floors. I feel for carpet the bun is little small. Gets filled up very quickly. For carpet its better to buy the one with self cleaning feature.

Overall, great product. I had to get a replacement after just a few days because something was faulty with the first one (the robot would clean in diagonal lines and it made the map look crooked). New robot works like a charm. Love the floor mapping functionality and ability to clean specific rooms and zones.

This roomba seems much better than an earlier model that does not make straight rows. Much happier with the performance of this model compared to the 890 series I previously purchased.

This iRobot vacuum is just as described. This vac works perfectly and does everything it claims to. Our floors are very nicely swept, both our hardwoods and the plush carpets. I would recommend this model of vacuum for anyone looking to try out the world of robot vacs.

If you want your robot vacuum to operate via a floorplan/map, then this one is for you! It cleans better than I anticipated, over both hard floors and carpet. I set slowpoke to clean every weekday at 7:15, it reports back to me through the app, which works just as well as this vacuum

Works well but comparatively expensive. Not sure if the cheaper models hold up as well. This seems fine but I might have over paid

I am thrilled to have this Roobma. I debated a long time and waited even longer before deciding to add this to my home. I have hardwood floors but I walk in and out the house a lot because I have to walk my dog. It does a great job. I am pleased with my purchase so far.

Such a cool device. Set it and forget it. It will map out all the areas where it can access and will go back to all those areas if you tell it to clean the whole house. You can also set it to clean specific areas.

One of the best purchases I've ever made. I have been researching for almost 6 months and ended up going with my original choice. I wish I purchased this sooner. Cleans for me in between my cleaning routine. Helps keep the dog hair to a minimum, almost non existent!

There were so many robot vacuums to choose from. We looked at many different options and finally settled on this one. Very easy to use. Makes a throurough map of your house and is very easy to schedule. Also good for cleaning multiple floors.
