Not a great product. I bought 2 at $57 and it works intermittently. Best buy does not sell a warranty for it now. Presently I am work with I Simple tech Travis (18004772267). They are reporting the car power plugin may not fit correctly (model dependent), fuse is out. But it works intermittently with the usb which works but not the blue tooth to my radio. I have a year to work with Isimple.

This transmitter did not work for us. It only has 4 options of stations to broadcast to. In our area, 2 of the options already have local channels. The receiver is on a cord that is supposed to mount on top of your dash. The cord was too short to reach, putting it in a poor position. The 2 remaining available channels had poor reception which made the music constantly fallout. I did not like the performance or the physical unit. I had bought 2 units and returned both since they did not work well in either vehicle I tried.

I don't have an aux port in my Jeep and I thought this would be a great quick and easy way to stream my music. It was mixed reviews online but I was optimistic. It was easy to setup but I could only pick up one static station. Maybe it's ideal for someone living in a rural area but I live in a major city and 2 of the 4 stations were actual radio stations so needless to say I could stream from those. I returned that thing so quick! Don't do it, just invest in a new radio.

Same old issues with an over-air FM transmitter.

Bought a used car that didn't have any Bluetooth capabilities. I was really hoping that this would do the trick, but was sorely disappointed. It was full of static, and I literally couldn't take it anymore. I did buy another 3x more expensive iSimple product (inline FM transmitter, installs behind radio) and it works beautifully. My point... it's not the brand... it's the solution. Suck it up and go the next step up, or I'd bet you'll be returning this and doing it in a few weeks anyway.

Got it and tested in the parking lot. Doesn't work at all. I had only 4 options for the channel selection and only 1 "kind of" worked. Full of static and had to turn my volume to 56 just to hear anything. For around $70 this is a complete failure of a concept. You are paying for its small compact form NOT functionality. Found a better product with more features for $30 at another store. If Best Buy had carried it I would have bought it there. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I have tried almost every channel to obtain a signal that did not sound fuzzy as I play my phone through the bluetooth connection. Everything sounds just as static-filled as channel that does not receive a signal from the radio station. Maybe we have too many stations in the area. Maybe this is just old technology that is obsolete. Maybe it is user error. I know I wanted my money.

This product is pure garbage. First off you can only select from 4 stations 106.7,106.9,107.1,107.3 so like most city's there is a station broadcasting on most of them. I can get it to come in on 1 of the stations but it is almost pure static. For $60 I would expect much more. I have purchased product back in the 90s from radioshack to broadcast through FM that were a million times clearer than this piece of garbage. It will be getting returned

I thought this was going to be a really convenient way to listen to music but it’s actually made it harder for me to drive and listen to music. The connection is always bad and the device itself is very sensitive, if you touch it or move it in anyway it could lose the connection. So sadly, I have to go back to using a portable speaker.

I bought this hoping I could hook it up to my radio, and I could never get it to pick up the frequency. I tried all 4 frequencies on the FM transmitter and nothing. I've had other devices that I used and it was able to broadcast to the radio just fine on those. It was able to connect to my phone, but nothing was ever heard through the speakers. So either the one I got was defective, or this product does not work.

Absolutely terrible, did not work as advertised. I attempted several times to get this item to work with my radio, but to absolutely no avail. I could not get the phone function to work AT ALL, and by some chance I could stream music it would be so distored that it was not even understandable. Long story short if I could give this item 0 stars for wasting my time, I would.

Bought this for my truck to get Bluetooth. The unit has only a few preset stations you can use, but there wasn't any way to get it to work without major static. Phone calls have so much static you can't hear person on other line. Audio for music was just as bad. Thought because it was expensive it would be good, but it turned out to be expensive paperweight.

I took this out to my car and immediately brought it back in to return it. There are only 3 stations that can be used for transmission and if the stations are already occupied or have a neighboring station there is much interference (and I live far from a metropolitan area so you'd think it would have been fine). Worse, the sound quality was abysmal. Do not buy.

Signal was very weak through this transmitter. No matter how many channels I switch through, I could not get a clear signal at all. After a few days, I returned it and picked up a different one for half the cost and works soo much better

It worked OK with static in rural areas. In metro areas where there are large concentrations of FM radio stations it couldn't find an unused station to broadcast through. Nothing but static. Replace your stereo with a bluetooth compatible model instead. I returned it and wouldn't recommend one of these to a friend.

I thought with todays technology and the $60 i spent it would work. 20 yrs ago they made this same exact one. It cant be that difficult to make work. It does not work and trust me its not user error so much static, noise, radio coming thru. Dont put yourself thru it.

I installed this in my car and even got my son to help because he has something similar in his car. It has the option of 3 FM radio channels to use and two of those channels were taken by a radio station. I had one option and the reception was not good and very static.

My daughter wanted this to use in our old car that does not have a DVD player and so she could play music from her phone in the car. Maybe it was due to the fact the all of the available frequencies are used for actual radio stations in our area, but she said it sounded awful. We returned it.

I just bought a 2003 Infiniti FX35, in perfect condition, and as it is an SUV, it sits higher and needs the Blue Tooth for LEGIT conversation on the road. Your salesperson directed me to this item, I spent over $50 as it broke in the first days of having it. It never sounded Good and was a piece of junk.

This was a gift I bought for someone whose car didn't have an AUX port. There are only 4 frequencies to choose from, so if those are in use by a radio station, which is my situation , this thing is useless. I am COMPLETELY disappointed by this device. Don't buy.
