    Really necessary if you have an older vehicle without an auxiliary outlet, and a tape player, I can connect my phone or IPod, works well, I’m happy with my purchase….

    Junk, the decade old one I used this to replaced worked worlds better with better sound quality

    Connectors failed to stay in cassette player. Cassette worked fine with regular cassette tapes

    So excited to see these are still being sold by Best Buy. The cord in this one is a lot thinner than others so it works well. Also, the connector is thicker and sturdier.

    I bought this to use my iPod Classic in my car. Other people I know had used similar products that worked pretty well. My experience was different. When I inserted the adapter in the car cassette player and connected the iPod I couldn't hear anything. I ended up turning the volume on the iPod and the volume on the car stereo as high as they would go and could then barely hear the music with the car standing still and not running. There is no way you would be able to hear the music while driving the car. I turned everything back down to normal and disconnected my iPod and then couldn't get the cassette adapter to eject from my car stereo. I tried multiple time and tried to pry it out with no success. So as of now, the adapter is still stuck in my cassette player and I'm not sure how I'm going to get it out. As a result, I would not recommend this adapter to anyone.
