    Big Fan!

Big fan of Steven King’s books, IT holds a special place in my heart. Although I love the movie it not without it’s faults, pacing and found some scenes were not necessary at all. I was expecting them to touch on the cosmic element from the books more but it did not happen. The ending could have been done differently by going into Pennywise past more and what he was. Overall I think the actors did a great job and hope to see a directors cut. If you purchased the steel book you are lucky, the reds in contrast with the blacks really make the cover pop.

I heard reviews saying this was bad and this was great. Well, after seeing it for myself I can say that I thought it was great! I liked better than the first one. Picture and Audio were excellent. HDR was on point. Now I wished I got the SteelBook..

IT Chapter Two does not disappoint! The packaging for the film is also great in the Steelbook complete with three discs and vivid images of Pennywise! Great buy for fans!

It Chapter 2 was very long, but well worth the wait. Not as good as Chapter 1, Chapter 2 holds it's own and brings closure to the fans of Stephen King and the franchise.

a film i really liked and others may hate

i've loved Stephen King since i was a kid and his films can be a hit and miss, although i love the 1990 version more as it Follows the book more that film was sadly filmed at a time where it as made at the wrong time cause you couldn't show a great deal of what's in the book like you can now. but with this film i really loved but i wish it had followed the book more closely than this time around, the 1st one needed to follow the book more than it did too. this one didn't anger me like the 1st one did because that ending to part 1 really angered me because on how much i love the book. this one apparently has it's fans and it's haters too. i say buy it or rent it whichever you prefer you might like it or you may hate it, it depends on your taste i guess.

I rate this film 100 red balloons

The history of red balloons in pop culture, from the US military UFO spotting experiments to the famous song from the 1980's by Nena "99 Luftballons" about red balloons being mistaken for a UFO all eerily seem to fit within IT's narrative where we finally get to learn the origin story of IT.. While the story is very visually disturbing and horrific at times, this film would have been a national sensation if it appeared in the 1980's when King published IT. The film suffers however, like most horror films today, where far more horrific real world existential fears exist and are only a click away. That said this film is a literal funhouse escape from the real world.

    A Solid Sequel

This film gets quite a bit of flack for not being AS good as the first chapter Installment, whether it be because of the elongated runtime or the diminished scares. But I think ultimately this film focuses less on the scares and more on further fleshing out these characters. From that standpoint, I feel this sequel measures up and solidly closes out the story in a way that’s loyal to the source material. All that said, this is a fantastic release that comes packed with hours of special features and even a separate documentary that explores the making of both this film and the first installment. Seeing this in perfect 4K is an absolute blast, especially the funhouse scene. If you’re a true Stephen King fan or a fan of the book, this is a must-own that you’ll thoroughly enjoy having in your collection.

Sufficiently scarier than the first, and I like that they changed the ending, at least from what I know the ending to be from the miniseries (never read the book). There's also one change in death from the miniseries. Agree with others that it's too long, probably by 20 minutes easy. That said, I still don't think they went far enough into the Pennywise backstory as they could have. They give you a couple teases, but that's it. Amazing steelbook art for an enjoyable movie.

If you enjoyed the first 'It' movie from a few years ago, or even the tv-mini series from a few decades back, I think you'll really enjoy this one as well. It: Chapter Two is a bit long nearing almost 3 hours run-time, but I felt like the pacing was decent and the pay-off at the end was worth the time investment. I would of liked to have seen a few more Pennywise appearances throughout the early & middle parts of the film, but what is there I enjoyed. My only gripe about the movie are some of the CGI scenes look a little cheesy (not all of them, but a few stick out in a bad way imo). Not sure if it's just an art choice, or lack of budget for some of the animated bits, but with that said, theirs some CGI scenes that are really well done too (like the last act). All in all, I'd definitely recommend this movie to It, Steven King, and horror movie fans.

    Beautiful steelbook

I already had the IT steelbook, so I was obviously going to pick this up anyway, but it ended up being a really beautiful steelbook. The art is as dark and creepy as the film and opens into one large picture, of the timeline from children to adults. Inside, when you remove all 3 discs, Pennywise is subtly in the background, the way you could just barely see his face in the sewer the first time. There could be more bonus features, but we are all really here for the movie anyway. Overall, a great purchase.

fun movie with a cool design steelbook

IT chapter 2 is a really fun movie that is very aware on what it is while adding the book elements in to this remake, i did enjoy the first IT in 2017 and this movie while fun and entertaining film. i will say for those who deal with epilepsy/seizures the climax of the film includes flashes, so if you have any kind of sensitivity to flashing lights i would have a few people with the person to make sure there doing okay. other then that the film is a recommended for those who enjoy the first film in 2017. the steelbook is also have a really cool design with Pennywise with 2 red balloons, and the rest of the artwork did a good job overall.

I watched the original “ it “ series on tv way back when. My granddaughter and I went to see the new version when it was released to theatres in 2017 (part one). When part two was released we went and seen that also. The new version was much more scary than the first. I jumped a few times!!

Ignore the bad reviews!!! After reading some of them, I was expecting a really disappointing "Chapter II", but I loved this version! It had more humor (as well as more CGI, of course), than the original, and I was more entertained with this version. There were moments that made me jump. The original "IT" was more scary and haunting, but I approve of this updated version of a great novel. This is a fast paced wild ride with some awesome special effects. A truly hilarious dark comedy!

Is this really the end of IT?

If you loved 1 you will probably love 2. At least I did. 2 might not have been as good but understand how hard it is to cram all that everything in Stephen Kings book into one movie. The movie is fairly long but it still not enough to include everything King has to offer in his book. There is a possible extended cut in the future. Here is to hoping! Great steelbook as well so you can’t go wrong.

    Decent adaptation of King's novel

Let's face it, a faithful adaption of Stephen King's IT would have been IMPOSSIBLE to make. That said, the recent remakes (Part 1 and 2) were pretty good for what they were. Of course, several plot points from the movies were eliminated (mainly Pennywise's manipulation of Bev's husband), but this was still a good watch. As far as the SteelBook itself, the cover art is decent; I would have liked if the SteelBooks for Parts 1 and 2 were similar; had the same design scheme.

There are folks that stated that they thought it was too long... not I. Not drawn out at all. When you have that many stories to tell you need the time to realize what each character is going through. I thought the past scenes were perfectly scattered where they needed to fall. I loved this movie. It had some great special effects and some touching scenes as well. Even had a little humor here and there. Well deserved 5 stars from me! ENJOY!

    The Conclusion to IT!

IT Chapter 2 wasn’t as good as it’s predecessor but was good for what it was. I think if Andy Muschietti had more time to work on his film it could have been much better than the film we got. My only other complaint is I wish The Loser’s club members could have been more diverse. All the kids were white except one and then one black kid got the least screen. By IT Chapter 1 being set in the 80’s I felt like there should have a kid to represent all the ethnicities as best as they could if they cared.

The First IT Was A Great Surprise & I Enjoyed It Very Much. I Waited To See How They Were Going To Follow It Up, & I Was Not Disappointed. Now The Kids Story Was Always More Compelling & Made For More Fun To See The Loser’s Club Ban Together To Fight Fear. Luckily The Adults Bring That Same Vibe In The Follow Up & Don’t Miss A Beat. Great Fun, Horror, Humor & Surprises Exist In Chapter 2 & Closes Out The Story Better Than The Original! The Cast Delivers, Especially Bill Skarsgard’s Pennywise Being As Pitch Perfect As Before! A Must Watch For Fans Of The First As Well As Horror Fans In General.
