It Takes Two was the very first game we played on our new Switch 2, and it completely exceeded our expectations. This is our first traditional game system in about 10 years outside of using a Meta Quest for co-op VR gaming, so we weren’t sure how much we’d get into non-VR gaming again. One of the biggest wins for us is that this game lets us enjoy co-op gaming together without triggering motion sickness, which I sometimes experience in fast-moving VR or first-person games. That alone made this a huge win. The co-op mechanics are outstanding and truly require teamwork and communication. Each level introduces creative puzzles and new mechanics, and the frequent checkpoints keep things fun instead of frustrating when challenges get tough. We had a blast working together to complete the game and will definitely be playing it again. We enjoyed it so much that we already picked up Split Fiction from the same creator and plan to jump into that next after Unravel Two. Note: You cannot play this using two individual Joy-Cons. Be sure you have an extra controller, such as a Pro Controller or another set of Joy-Cons, for co-op play.

My boys absolutely loved playing this game on their switches. They were able to share the one game between both switches. Great at developing teamwork and communication skills. Also lots of entertainment and seems to be challenging enough to keep them interested.

This game is phenomenal, it’s definitely challenging but also super fun! Wish they were other versions of this, my husband and I finished the game so fast , very addictive.

This game is crazy good. I bought it for christmas so my husband and I can play on his days off work. The story line starts off a bit sad but gameplay is pretty cool. Teamwork is essential here and it really helped our communication develop a lot more in our real life. Definitely recommend this game if youre looking for something fun to pass the time with. As someone who can't really stand video games in general (I tend to get headaches fast from the camera movement), this game is an exception to that. I could definitely play for hours. I wouldn't recommend letting kiddos playing because there is some swearing and adult comedy. Nothing too heavy or explicit though. Have yet to finish it but so far, one of the coolest games we've played since Mario!

This was such a fun game for my husband and I to play together! I would highly recommend this game for any couple or two player game seekers! The challenges were so fun and not as easy as you’d think! You really have to work together! Great story line too, really that’s at your heart.

Got the game for me and my cousin to play. we play on are own switches but also I wanna say it has the option to play on the same switch. Also story line is great! Easy to learn and fun game to play!

I personally haven't played it yet but my kids love this game. They like the story & the graphics are pretty cool as well. I like the concept of teamwork that it teaches & honestly, I can't wait to play it as soon as one of my girls lets go of the controller.

Such a fun game to play! Absolutely loved the game! Some of the levels are very challenging, and you need a lot of patience for it. It took a few days to complete the game, so that was a plus.

It is an amazing game! Played it with my girlfriend all the way through, we plan on going again and switching as Cody and May. Would advise for both platonic and romantic relationships! Personal favorite was the frog riding segment! Though warning be prepared to cry

This game requires the players to work together as a team. To pass those all the obstacles, you will need to communicate to your partner. Also absolutely love the story!
